Win2K keeps locking up after installing drivers.

I have just installed Win2k on drive D, I am doing a dual boot of Win98SE and win2k. After I install a new driver, I get the Blue Screen of death in Win2k KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x0000001E It did this aftre installing my Asus v6600 drivers, my Hollywood + drivers, my Adaptec 29160 drivers.

I am building a new computer and am looking for some advice. I am getting an abit bp6 and 2 celemine 600's. I know that the abit board does not support fcpga due to the voltage problems. SOOOO I am getting the neo-s370.

Shutdown/Restart Issue

Hey all, mildly annoying issue here, about 2 weeks ago, when I went to restart my win2k pro machine, I noticed it gets all the way past the saving settings part, then it acts like its gonna restart, and just hard locks, to where I have to manually shut it off and turn it on.

According to Microsofts white paper on tweaking Windows 2000 if you have a second hard drives they recommend storeing your system page file on you second drive which makes Windows run faster does anybody know where this file is stored or how to do this !!!

I'm trying to move the pagefile to one of my other partitions but W2K Pro refuses to recognise there's a pagefile after moving. Compressed Folders in Win2k??

Greets All, I read somewhere that it's possible to copy over 3 (I think) files from the compressed folders utility that comes with Plus98 and WinME into Win2k. Does anyone know what the required files are? I know I could use winzip or likewise, but I like this util (as sad as it is!) Regards, g00ner.

Why does k6-2 get reported at half-speed in ACPI mode on ALI

Any clues, it is ratger annoying, but DXdiag and other report as normal. I searched for answers on TechNet and nothing. It doen't matter if it's oc or not. Just asking to see if anyone has noticed this and I don't want to use standard PC setup which I've heard detects the cpu correctly.

Locale is Lying in Win2000!

I have no idea why this is happening, but. . . . On installing Win2000 i clearly specified system locale as United Kingdom (English) etc. On the Regional Options tab it clearly shows Locale as UK. Input locale is UK English.

I've got a bit of a problem, that I'd think would have an easy fix. . . but I can't find it. I want to move, not resize, my Virtual Memory Swap File, to another harddrive(so that i have more free space on my C drive).

I had an EPOX motherboard running a k62-450 with W2k and I had no problems. I just upgraded to a FIC board with Athlon 700 and now I have random lockups - my mouse pointer stops moving and although I can toggle my numlock and caps lock - the keyboard doesn't work either so I am forced to reboot.

Periodic W2K Freezing (not bad, just annoying)

OK, this isn't a really big problem since W2K still runs fine and doesn't crash but I am having a very annoying problem: W2K periodically freezes. This is solvable by pressing alt+ctrl+del then pressing the cancel but I would like to eliminate this annoyance.
