hi everyone. madden 2002 crashed in winxp. it said the problem was the video card driver. i need to know if there are any good (and STABLE) voodoo3 3000 drivers for winxp. if there are then a link pointing to them would be greatly appreciated.

Windows XP always freezing with my games!!!

Whenever I start a game that uses the 3d-acceleration aspect of my Nvidia GeForce 2 MX video card, everything freezes up, and I have to hit the reset button. I've tried a TON of both old and new Nvidia drivers and still the same result.

I can't get this game to work in win2k - so i found this site. The link here went to a guy who had 9 steps to make it work. i followed them. . . but the patch was 4. 50 instead of 4. 4. when i try to play the game.

Hello there, I have a sblive in a win2k machine. When i enable EAX in theif2 it reboots my pc. Was fine in win98SE. Does anyone know a workaround??.

Alright, my kids really want this Atlantis game to work. So much so that I am considering putting Win98 on my machine to get it to work. I realize that this probably isn't the most popular game, but wanted to know if anyone had gotten it to work? thanks.

Have resident evil2 installed and running fine except for the save games. When you save a game and try to reload it it comes up with load failure. Also the actual text on the load screen isnt visable.

Setting refresh rate above 60Hz in Opengl?

Yes, how is this possible? In w2k I can do it with nvreffix or by regedt32 but nvreffix doesn't support WinXP yet and it's no longer possible with regedt32. I have to boot to w2k to play opengl games with >60Hz.

Has anyone tried to play theif gold under Win xp? I installed the game itself fine, however, EAX does not enable for me (I have an SB Live Value). I tried to install the patch for Theif The dark project, but when I click on the exe, it says it can't find the directory that is installed in.

I recently got Madden 2002 for my PC and everything seems ok until i actually begin to play the game. the game tends to freeze after a certain period of time (not specific or anything but it tends to happen 5 mins into the game).

Does anyone remember the old IMagic Game's Great Battles series? There were three games - Great Battles of Alexander, Great Battles of Hannibal and Great Battles of Caeser and eventually they were released in a single boxed set as well.

I cant get counterstrike to run i get a message saying my card does not support openGL mode ? the card is a Nvidia MX400. . . . im using the drivers which came with XP2600. . . can anyone help me with this.

I started to play it again, all works fine, i drive ok, but when i choose end session, i get kicked to my desktop, with this message: MAJOR ERROR! -Missing string: GPS_AUTOSAVEREPLAY. I close the window and thats it! What is wrong? I really want to play this game.

Problem with sound in Duke Nukem 3D

I'm running Windows NT 4. 0 and I've got this problem with sound on DOS games. I installed VDMS and now have sound support in most of my old games, with the exection of Duke Nukem 3D and Doom. I know there are intricate sound settings in Duke's setup.

Giants:Citizen Kabuto sound problems

When I play giants:citizen kabuto, after the cutscenes (once you actually begin playing) the sound almost immediately bursts into loud static. I'm running the newest windows update sb live drivers, on a a7v with a thunderbird 800.

Driver crashes at startup under XP

I have tried the patch to 2. 0 and that enables it to find the 3d card, however the game. exe still starts then crashes, 'game. exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. ' tried running compatibility mode but nothin.
