In NT compability there is written that under w2000 Starcraft should work, but I get an error that starcraft is unable to read a requied file. I had the same problem under win98, but there i copied WIN95-s cdfs.

Is anyone else having problems with FF8 under Win2000? - I know some games won't work but I get bizarre lines across the screen - and at the moment it keeps crashing during the first GF tutorial at the Front Gate, or whever it was.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron Joystick Problem

It was recently reported on this site that Star Wars Rogue Squadron works under Win 2000. I can get the game to run on my machine with a Voodoo 2 and Glide drivers, but the joystick will not work in the game.

Unreal Tournament works great!

I've seen so many complaints here that i thought I'd post a positive message for once! I just got Unreal Tournament, and I couldn't believe how well it run under Win2K! No jerking or anything. It run much better than Q3 in win98 (no, I havent tried Unreal in Win98 yet, maybe it will be even better there than Q3).

I installed microsoft's hotfix that made certain games work under win2k. . . well, i almost postitive that is what broke Madden 2000 and i can't get homeworld to work either. . . even tho it is supposed to work Anyone else have this problem???? -Drak0.

Well, it installs fine and i can play all the way up to the second act just before you advance maps. When the icon turns to a little wheel and i try to advance maps, the game kicks me back to desktop and gives me an assertion error.

LAN games in win2k

i have win2k on my machine but my friends only have win98 and win98SE. when we set up a LAN, simple lan using NIC cards and BNC cable, my games often suddenly quit whereas the games in 98 don't. Quake3 plays fine, kingpin and revolts both quit.

I have win2k build 2183 and I'm trying to play Starcraft Broadwar on the Internet but I can't join any games. When I host no one can join my game. I have Kingpin and Quake3 and I can play find on the Internet.

Anyone managed to get Quake 3 Arena to work on SMP system? I seems to get an instant hang on Windows 2000 (2195) when I start Quake 3. System Spec: Geforce DDR Nvidia Reference Driver 3. 75 256 Mb PC133 Dual Celeron 450 Mhz.

Texel Aligment for FF8

How do I set the texel aligment so my FF8 will look correct. The beta drivers don't contain a tab in the display panel for adjusting Direct3d settings. I don't know the registry key for that setting either.

Hi there, i have a Gforce CT6941 and installed the newest Win2000 driver. In Win i have 100HZ and my monitor is installed correctly. When i start Q3 or any other Gl-game, the Gforce always switch to 60 HZ, whats wrong :-(((.
