I have basically the same problem as with my other post, except that in this one, I can't get into the preferences at all, and I need to to change a few things around. I've updated with the newest patch from the makers, but no luck.

Win2k, UT and NVidia 5.17

Does someone has tested NVIDIA 5. 17 beta drivers on Windows 2000 with Gforce ? (256/DDR) Question is : Does Unreal Tournament now works in Opengl ? like in 5. 14 ? Because on 5. 16 UT worked only in D3D Thanks for you help See ya !.

UT 420 OpenGL and GeForce | why crashing back to W

I downloaded and applied the 420 patch to a fresh installation of UT. Since D3D alway was too slow on my system, (at least 10 - 20 fps slower than OGL) I immediately switched to OpenGL just to see the game crashing back to W2k while starting UT.

Can anyone tell me how to get refresh rates higher than 60hz in opengl games like soldier of fortune? dont tell me to use powerstrip because i dont want to and it doesn't work. I have a tnt 2 with the 5.

i just got my dual celeron 500 system and upgraded to win2k. . . . half-life runs absolutly perfectly and is very stable, however Unreal Tourney and Q3A seem to lockup at random times, i'm using the 3dfx 1.

Help Solve Half Life Problem

Just put the Nvidia 5. 16 drivers on my system, for my CL TNT2 Ultra. RUnning win2k. Now when I try running Half life, I get Half Life requirers 16 bit color. Please set desktop to this. . . . No idea why I get this.

Hey. I've installed Half-Life on my machine, but it does not work, i get an error HL is generating errors and will be closed by windows The same copy of HL worked when i had NT4. N e suggestions guys why i get errors? I have a P3-450 Creative Voodoo Banshee, 128MB.

UT on an nVidia Card a bit choppy?

Hey, I'm wondering what API ppl with nVidia cards play UT with? I run OpenGL and its kinda choppy. I know its not my system because all the other FPS games run fine. It says I should be getting a minimum of 30 fps.
