Ground Control - Direct X 7.0a?

Trying to install ground control, in win2k pro, and it wants me to put on directx 7. 0a to work properly. Says it isnt installed. Do i need this? I thought win2k already had this version. Anyone have that EAX.DLL for Final Fantasy VIII?

I installed Final Fantasy VIII on Windows 2000. IT installs fine But the game won't run without EAX. DLL file in my WINNT\SYSTEM folder. I did get the updated patch but that didn't help. They have the unified EAX drivers but it always executed an error.

i know that nt4. 0 is faster than win 95/98 in multitasking. . . but how much faster? and. . . is fat16 faster than fat32?.

Hi all! I got the Problem, that my HL produces a Errorprotocoll if I quit HL without loggin off a server. And, often, HL freezes, but Win2k is still ok. Problem is, that my Keyboard and Mouse are also frozen.

MDK 2 locks on leaving the game.

K, the game runs great on my PC at 1280X1024 while I am playing. The problem is when I try to quit the game and go back to the desktop my screen locks either black or grey with the music still going in the background.

Shogo Freezes - wont run

I read that Shogo would run on win2000. . . but mine just freezes up after start screen. I have already updated all drivers. Have any of you had this problem?? Thanks! Benzine.

It is finally over, irritating sticky keys in Windows 2000, for once I can dump Windows 98 in the bin and light the match, and come to the bliss of Windows 2000 Ok before you all say this is just another hack saying its fixed, its not.

MCM2 and GeForce

Ive noticed with MCM2 that it has issues with selecting between the Geforce DDR and software rasterization. I can start a game and the graphics and fps are smooth and kickin but then in the next game its grainy and choppy.

quake3 and smp

right i know the command r_smp 1 , but the machine locks up 3 seconds into quake 3. works fine without smp but still id like to get it working. any ideas?? dual p3 500mgz gfroce annialtor 256 ddr pro 256 mb ram 5.
