Counterstrike start server black screen on NT2000

Does anyone have any solutions? When I start a LAN game in Counterstrike using the lastest 7. 0b and Halflife patches and Service Pack 1 for NT2000, I get a damn black screen. I have found a temp solution though! If you ALT - TAB back out.

GP3 - HELP!!!!

I just bought the US version of GP3 and I can't get it to run on W2K Pro. From the start-up screen when you insert the CD it goes to a blue screen with an error message. I've tried using a compatibility tool included on the W2K cd but it says I have a debugger runner which I'm unaware of.

Problem with NFS: Porche after upgrade

I am running Win2000 (release) for a while now, with no problems. I ran NFS: Porche with no problems whatsoever. Recently, I upgraded from a TNT 1 based card (Viper 550) to a Geforce 2 GTS one (Anihilator 2).

PIII-800 Win2k Pro Vortex2 latest beta drivers from vortexofsound DirectX8 (DX7 made no difference) All Win2k Patches. Some games get that sound stuttering. In Battlezone 2 the voices play fine and tehn - suddenly - stop.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there has run across graphic problems while running Combat Mission under Win2k. I get wierd text flickering on the bottom bar, the VCR controls during playback, and the command screen when it is shown.

Problems with Sblive Value and System Shock 2

Im running system shock 2 on win2k pro with SP1 installed and when I play with or without EAX enabled, the voices of the computer and email messages come through extremely low. any ideas? I have a SBlive Value running Liveware 3.

Hi folks. . Cant get UT to play fullscreen it just runs in a window on the desktop. . Any ideas would be greatly be appreciated. . Specs - win2k + sp1, tnt2 m64, nvidia 618 driver, UT ver428, running in D3D.

Hi, I have a problem when I install GP3 on my system: PIII 500, ATI Rage 128 128 MB SDRAM PC100 The installation is good, but when I start the game, a black screen appear, the sound start, but nothing append.

Running a dual boot for WIN2k and WIN ME? I have win2k now, wondering if some games will run better /quicker/smoother in win me over win2k. Just curious if I should get a dual boot going, or if that is just a waste of space.

60 FPS in HL , no more, no less?

Just bought a 3d prophet 2 mx video card, and have the 6. 18 detonator 3 drivers running. WHen I play HL, i get 58-60 FPS constantly. This doesnt seem right. There isn't a lot of fluxuation, and it never goes above 60.

new 3dfx drivers for Voodoo 3000

I can't make heads or tails out of the new drivers listing here or on the 3dfx pages. Is there a new driver set for this card or is the original retail version still the newest. If there is a new one, can you tell me a filename so i can find the proper one? Thanx in advance!.
