hi guys, been reading this board for quite a while now. can anyone please help me with Rogue Spear? I have just recently installed Win2k advanced server and it installed fine. the patch program halts when it gets to 100%.

I have read a lot of positive posts in regard to Whistler but I have to say that after trying a couple versions for kicks and giggles I find it to be an over-weight version of Win2k which actually slowed down my games.

Hi ! I tried the detonator 6. 47 and the latest 10. 80 , but i can't play in opengl ? When i do the test in the bgconfig , i see something like a big black square , with some grey around it. But when i select 2d and 32 bits , everything work's great.

Hi all! I've been searching this forum for an answer to my question without success, so I thought I might post it - sorry if this has been posted before. Alpha Centauri: Game seems to work fine under Win2000, but for some reason I am not able to move units around with the keypad (yes, I checked - NumLock is on).

OK - here's the story. I was running NT4 and upgraded to win2k with no problems. Half life ran under NT and ran under 2000. Fine. Then I had to reformat my disk and reinstall Win2k. Since then I have taken the opportunity to load the most recent video drivers for my Matrox G400 Max(5.

The game loads up fine, and loads all the textures when trying to start a race, but then it kicks me back to the desktop. Anyone who knows how make this game work in Win2k? From what I've read some have no problems with it, and others have the same problem as me.

Hi, Think I posted something about this 7 or 8 months ago. Couldn't fix it so gave up. Anyway, reinstalled Ground Control today, patched it to 1. 0. 1. 1, and still get the same error. Installing GC comes up with hasn't detected DX7, won't run without DX7 thing, but I have the latest DX8 installed.

Hello I just updated to w2k pro and have updated all my drivers. The problem is when I try to load tribes I get the 3dfx screen then it goes black which hangs causing me to reboot. I have a voodoo 3 3000pci which I updated, dx8, p111 450 128 megs ram.

If I remember I got diablo to run. Thats not bad. . lots of violence and some thinking. I'm on win2k now and have played diablo2 so I assume diablo2 would also work on nt4. . dont know you'll have to try for yourself.
