I may be having hell with my dvd dxr2, but, Quake3 is really smoothe under win2k. My pings are better and game vid is smoother. the curved textures are awesome. .

Anyone who gets ReVolt to work under RC2

Hi ! Does ReVolt work under RC2 ? I always get an error message about Z-Buffer. Celeron 400, 256MB Ram, Matrox Marvel G200, Voodoo 2, SBLive. .

I have a voodoo2 card as my oGL setup, while my mga200 does the D3D most of the time. For some reason Homeworld goes blank, monitor clicks twice, then it returns to desktop. . . I'm not sure if its the DX7 release or its the mga200 drivers.

Falcon 4 with Voodoo3

I cannot get this game to run at all with my Voodoo3. It worked great in Glide mode with my Voodoo2. I replaced my old stuff with a Voodoo3, clean install of RC1 or RC2 (same results with either) and tried all of Seldzar's stuff from his site and still not working.

SPorts Car GT in 3DFX Mode

Has anyone gotten Sports Car GT to work in Glide mode with a Voodoo3? I can get it to work in D3D mode but not in Glide. I have tried all of Seldzar's stuff to no avail. I have tried RC1 and RC2 (2072 and 2128).

Can anyone get Quake 3 Test to work?? I downlaoded when win32 setup, when I try to play, the screen goes white and that's it, machines locked. I tried to use the GL install but you need 95/98 to use it.

Hi, I'm trying to install some Disney Interactive stuff under Nt 4. 0, but it fails with the message that the OS is not 95/98. There is a install. ini file that has an OS_SKIP_CHECK field, but changes to this file don't seem to make any difference even if I put garbage in it.

I try to install System Shock 2 and it wont install. . . . it says that winnt dosnt handle directx version 6. 1a or higher and I have dx7 final/ Does anybody know how to get around this please let me know through ICQ.

Pandora's Box on NT4?

When I start the Microsoft game Pandora's Box, the screen immediately freezes. The mouse pointer stops moving, the keyboard is ignored, even Ctrl-Alt-Del is ignored. I have to power cycle the machine to get it back.

Anyone having any luck getting Freespace 2 to work under Windows2000? It wouldn't load at all under glide. D3D loads ok - but all the text in the game is corrupted and unreadable. My system: Pentium 3-450 128 MB RAM Voodoo 3 3000 SB Live.

TNT2 Ultra refresh problem :(

Hi guys, I am having a problem under windows 2000 RC2 with my TNT2 ultra card. I ran quake 1 and 2 but they are at 60Hz refresh rate. My windows is at 100Hz refresh rate. I also have tried increasing quake 2 resolution to 1024 x 768 like my desktop setting, but it's not 100Hz when I run the game.

Hi, i have found that my voodoo3 only had gilde drivers and no d3d drivers. now i have found that i need drivers ver. 1. 00. 00. 1 for win nt. Where can i found it??? on ftpsearch i only found 2 files but both didn`t work (i can`t download it).

Slow Games

Under beta 3, all games ran fast, but under RC 2, my games are all jumpy. I am running the driver and directx, ogl, and glide are running. Any ideas on speeding up the games. I used glide in Homeworld, and directx in rogue spear.
