QFIXAPP2. 0: I used the W98 layer, didn´t change the preselected fixes and started the linked autorun. exe from the CD! EAW-Multiplayer options seem to work now!.

win 2000 and games ?

I'm currently using win me, but i project to use win 2000, does the game run faster on this system and is it better ? Does most of the game work on this system ? Is it more stable ? Thks for your help.

Grand Prix 3 install BSOD

Hi, I'am trying to install GP3. I get a stop error KMODE_EXCEPTION_ERROR. I also did got that message when trying to install Pod Racer. I have solved that problem by installing the hotfix Q261606 from MS.

Is there anyway to get Nascar revolution or Sim ThemePark to

so far had no luck getting these two games work on win2k pro. Plus nascar revolution i cant even get working on my win98SE lol thats so sad. Sim ThemePark still works i think. i own a voodoo 3 2000 pci video card right now but soon getting a new video card which will be a geforce video card.

well i had it working for a while then i tried some newer drivers i think not for sure but it made the game lose some of the graphics and look all wacko after i changed drivers so which drivers have the best direct3d support anyone know?

Winfast GeForce 2 has "blips" in 2k games

Ok, I just got my MSI i815 Pro and my Leadtek winfast Geforce 2 GTS Pro. When i play games like THPS2, Madden 2001, Hitman , and Half Life i get these little white blips. They look like little white flashes that come up randomly.

Trouble Playing Games Over home Network...

I have a small network in my home and cannot host or join any 'network' games regardless of which machine hosts or is joining. Both machines are on Win 2K Pro. Both 'see' each other on the network, and respond to ping's and tracert's (using either the macine names or their IP's).

Need for speed 3 under w2k

I downloaded nfs3 fix from here, and did all as was written in readme file. But I fail to run the game. I click on nfs3. exe, and nothing happens (clock icon appears just for second, and that is it).

Nascar 4 - horrible sound/graphics (d3d) in Win2k

When playing Nascar 4 under windows 2000, I am seeing some rather annoying problems. First thing I notice is that the shadow dropped under the cars looks like static from a TV that has no cable plugged into it , on a unused channel.

MS Sidewinder Precsion 2...HELP!!

Okay, I picked it up today. I go to install it but when I plug it into the usb port Win2k tells me it needs the hidusb. sys file. I did a search on all the hard drives, the Sidewinder CD, the Win2k CD, and the Win98 CD.

Carnivores Ice Age in Win2K?

anyone been able to get Carnivores Ice Age working in Win2K? i keep getting a heap allocation error. here is a copy of the log file the game generates: Init Direct Sound Software mixer version 1. 3 Back Sound Buffer created.

HH2002 Problems

I cna't get the visit to the mound to work. Even when I have it enabled in the options. When I select it. It makes that sound you get when the feature is not available. Anyone else having that problem ? Also I can't get the pitcher to move on the rubber.
