Weird Problem PLZ take a look

darkicon
Hello, I have a P3B-1394 motherboard and everytime I go to startup my computer it shuts down after about 2 secconds. Then I start up again and it continues to load as normal. I am running Win2k and my bios right now is 2004 beta 4 (the newest I think) It also did this with the 2004 bios.

Too fast. I need help.

DuSTman
I am having problems with many games running under windows 2000, that most people seem not to have. I common recurring problem is that for some reason, unknown to me, the timing in most games is buggered.

HP 7200e really works??

Anhur
Hiyas, I saw on the main page that the HP 7200e CD-Writer drive works with Win2k using the latest shuttletech drivers. That made me pretty happy as I thought I could get rid of Win98 (which I use for burning CDs only).

Sync Data Transfer

FunnyMuffin
In Win98 there was the option to enable 'sync data transfer' that would inrease performance of the cd-rom drive, which also resulted in better performance when burning on the fly (from cd-rom directly to cd-rw).

Monitor trouble with NVidia 5.14

Andy_25
I recently installed the 5. 14 drivers for my TNT. For a while everything worked fine, and games even seemed to run a little bit faster. Then Yesterday I was playing F1 2000, and the game worked ok and after returning to Windows, I left the computer for a while.

Dual PIII + Win2K

Aragorn
I have Dual PIII 550@625MHz with P2B-D motherboard (last bios). The task manager say me that the Kernel cpu/times take 20% of the first processor, 80% of the second. Before the PIII, I had dual PII 400@450, and the CPU/times was only 1% per processors.

Exactly what version of win2k am I running?

sk
Is there anyone who knows how to tell what version of Windows 2000 Pro one haves? I heard rumours that there were done several last minute updates to the final 5. 00. 2195. Is the information available at Microsoft? Or is there a list somewhere? SK.
