Overclockin athalon 750 on K7M

Hey I was wondering how far has anyone been able to overclock an Athalon 750 on K7M motherboard, while maintaining relative stability (relative cause, that combo isnt that stable to begin with) Thanks!

Detonator drivers and hibernation

Does all detonator drivers prevent hibernaiton? So far I have tried ver. 5. 22 and 5. 32. I have to add that I use my Asus Geforce DDR as a secondary video card/game card since it delivers a ****y picture quality at 1600x1200.

Ok. . . now here's a classic computer demon that I need exorcised. Banished to the Mac world, if you will I just disassemled 3 computers, 1 486(took a 20x CD-Rom, a 325 MB hdd, and a floppy), 1 Pentium 1(the 1 GB Hdd), and the other a Pentium III(took the DVD Rom, CD-RW, Video card, 2 Harddrives, and 384 RAM).

sparatic reboots

I am running win2k on a Asus P3V4X board. My PII 400 runs at 42C but for some reason my system will reboot whenever it feels like it. Any suggestions, I know that there are some compatibility problems with win2k and the VIA chipsets.

ASUS Temp reporting

I just built a computer using an ASUS CUV4X with PIII600E. In the bios the temp is reported at 70C from cold boot, and 90C after running for 20 minutes. But in Win2k, the Asus probe program lists the temp as 30C right after booting, and 40C after 20 minutes.

CD-R Media Quality

I have a relatively new HP 9110i CR Writer. When I had it working with NT I successfully created two music CDs from MP3s using Memorex 650Mbyte CD-R media (x1 write speed). Since I've upgraded to Win2K I've not been able to create any music CDs on three attempts; 1.

Practically free new Abit KA7 slot A kx133, is it worth it?

I found this mobo for sale for only £50 (about $70?) and wondered seeing as it is a slot A, not socket, and has the slightly older via kx133 chipset, is this a bargain? The reason it's so cheap is because they ( a respectible UK nationwide dealer)have lost all the cables and manual.

SCSI problems please help

This is the second time I tried to flash update my second adaptec 2940U2W SCSI card's BIOS and it failed both times and now the PC wont boot with the card in the computer. I have to take it out for the PC to boot.

I recently purchased the WinTV USB FM from Hauppage. Everything went fine until I tried to get the TV bit working. First, I could get some audio, then I fiddled with the drivers and now nothing works.

i'm having trouble getting either one of these to work properly under win2k. for both Standby/Hibernation, it goes off fine, but when i move mouse/turn it on, hd starts up, fan's on, but nothing is displayed.

Hi, I still try to solve my W2k installation problem. I am using a DFI K6BV3+ with a K6-3 450MHz and an Adaptec 29160 SCSI controller with a WD 18300 Ultra2 LVD disk. I have tried a lot of things, but I get always the stop error: inaccessible_boot_device.

Can anyone recommend any software for my STB TV PCI video card (based on the BT848 chipset)? What software is the best for watching television or using the video capture in Windows 2000? Which ones are comaptible? I found many drivers on Many of the drivers were uploads of different brands of the chipset.
