Hi, I installed porshe unleased and it was not working. it hanged @ the startup screen. Then i deleted gimme. dlll(stated in results) and it started working perfectly. Now, what is the purpose of gimme.

A warning to any of you who may be in the market for a new NIC my favorite 3com NIC isn't supported in win2k. I learned this the hard way. I recently chose to move over to Win2k instead of WinME. . .

I hate to disgace this forum with a complaint as trivial as this, but here goes: I have recently installed a second IBM IDE 30. 7GB Deskstar HDD to complement my existing drive. It's a good fast disk and the noise it make while in action is reasonably quiet compared to some others.

Hi, You should get the Geforce MX. It is simply great. The 3D performance is excellent, though compared to a GTS, it is 500-700 3D MARKS points low. The quality of the TV out is excellent, very smooth and well accelerated.

Printer Minolta PagePro 6L under W2K

In the Hardware section of the page it is stated that the above named printer is running under W2K. But there is no driver for W2K. With the W98 driver it isn't running, so what driver should I use? There is also no driver for WinNT.

I cant get Whistler to install On this board at all - doesnt boot from CD or from initial menu screen immediately goes blank and the system hangs. I have stripped the system down to nothing and still no joy.

I plan to rebuild my machine. . . but i would like to NOT have to reinstall win3k. Right now win2k Pro is installed to F:, i want to move it to my C: drive soon. Are there issues that i have to worry about? Are there any programs that will help me?? Thanks Ancker Jade.

Has anyone gotten ati tv wonder to work in windows 2k. have tried whats mentioned under hardware using dtv i can get sound but no video but it isnt saying its not seeing a video stream is it possible to get it to work bp6 with 466 celerons, 512 pc100 cas2, geforce gts 2 pro, aureal super quad.

I have a Win2k Pro machine which has 3 Maxtor HDD's setup as 1 spanned volume. It's 2 40Gig and 1 60Gig. I just added the 60Gig and ever since I've had nothing but problems. I'm at the point now where I believe the OS is pretty much trashed.

I have a computer that is dual booting Windows ME and Windows 2000. . . . . . . . C: drive is windows ME (fat32) D: drive is Windows 2k (NTFS) E: drive is just an neutral drive (fat32) at first I was planning on using ME most of the time so i made that partition the biggest.
