Sound Blaster Live EAX sound racket !?!

Hi. . . I buy a sound Blaster live value and my windows xp 2600 detect and install this card fine, four speakers works fine. So in Baldurs Gate with enviroment sound on when one of the personages says the sound is with a strange racket, if enviroment sound off the sound works ok ! So what ? I test with a sound card ...

Hi there. Everybody seems to have problems with there controllers i XP. I have still that problem. I have a ABIT 133-Raid motherboard with an HPT370 onboard, and on abit's homepage there are an bios upgrade for the controller and for the controller only.

SCSI Troubles - Please help!

I got my SCA adaptor today and my LVD cable with terminator. I hooked the end of the cable opposite the terminator to scsi chanel a on the motherboard and hooked the last connector before the terminator to the sca adaptor and hooked the sca adaptor to the hard drive.

Cordless Freedomw Problems!!!

Ok I just got a cordless freedom optical mouse and keyboard from logitech. I downloaded the latest XP drivers and installed and rebooted. When I can back the computer was slow as. . . . . . well it was just very slow.

windows xp doesnt recognize my viper II card. No drivers can be found. Does anyone no if any exist, or how to configure win 2000 drivers to work if at all. No help from Microsoft or Diamond. .

No printers in Device Manager?

I noticed that my printer is not showing in Device Manager in Win2K, although it is working fine. Is this normal? Where would I look to check which driver version I'm using? I can't find a driver version if I go into my printer's Properties.

Anyone running the Fortissimo 2 ? i have a SBlive now and i am sick of all this hsit. the chirps, the crackles the lockups I will be running this in a SMP system and was wondering if anyone had any feedback.

Hi I cant seem to get the 3dfx tabs under display properties to come up Ive tried different drivers and tried doing a repair install once the drivers were installed. Does anyone have these tabs under win2k? Im using a 5500 pci.

I am trying to figure out why my Yamaha Burner isn't list with recording capabilities. Fresh install, after UPS configuring killed OS, loaded again, and now the Yamaha Burner isn't listed with Recording capabilities, it was and I burned CD's in the last load, what to do? 5th load of XP, I am tired, any help? Ned.

Voodoo 2 problems and questions

Hi all, I installed the drivers provided by , to get my Voodoo 2 card to work. There was a Genport i/o error which I suppose is causing my other problems. After restarting XP, the Device Manager had an entry for my 3D Voodoo card and reported it working correctly.

DVD drive problem

Hi! I've been having some wierd problems with my Toshiba SD-M 1212 DVD drive. The symptons are that the drive keeps ejecting the tray when I try to put a CD-R , -ROM , DVD-ROM or whatever media into it and the drive leaves the drive bay open it won't close the tray ,in other words the DVD drive is unusable.
