alcan5wn.sys error in xp

its a file used by my alcatel speedtouch usb modem i get the error also sometimes my modem just switches off. any help would be greatly appreciated. i have a: 700 mhz athlon slot a Kadoka(gateway) mobo nvidia tnt2 32mb etc.

The dreaded IRQ_DRIVER_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL BSOD

I had the BSOD message the other day: 'IRQ_DRIVER_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL' Id seen some other ppl with this message and might have a solution. I had had the top off my pc because one of my fans wasnt working, and i tested the connector with the CPU fan.

When I try to run 3D Studio Max it says this error message: Hardware lock drivers are not installed. Application will terminate Then I click ok and then it says this: Hardware lock is not attached, or you are using the wrong lock, or the lock device drivers are not running.

I'm having pretty constant hard crashes under XP, usually with the message PAGE_FAULT_IN_A_NONPAGED_AREA flashing right before it reboots. I'm running a P4 1. 7Ghz with a Geforce 3 on an Intel D850GB motherboard, 384MB RAM, and a SB Audigy Plat EX.

Today I received my ATI Radeon 7500. . . damn, I had to wait 5 weeks to get it in germany. . . Well - I deinstalled all nVidia stuff & software (I used a good old GeForce256 SDR before) and installed my Radeon 7500.

HP Photosmart 1100 printer Win2K

I'm using the HP Photosmart 1100 printer on Win 2K with parallel. The drivers for 2K @ the HP website do not work. They hang my system (no virus scan, no Roxio etc. ) during install. The HP Forum is full of posts with people trying to run the 1100 on Win 2K and there are a lot of frustrated users.

hello!! i have a cd-rw from yamaha YAMAHA crw8424s scsi cdrim device and when i start my burning program , win on cd 3. 6 it gives me the following error error retrieving scsi/ide bus information: no scsi host adapter found please help me and quick shachaf rodberg.

Printer going Nucking Futs!!

Suddenly my Epson Stylus Color 400 has been doing some strange things. For some reason, every time I print, say one A4 page, it prints that page over 20 pages!! The first page will have about 10 lines on it, then the rest will be split over another 20 or so pages, sometimes not even an entire printed line on each.

Asus A7M266 with new 1005 bios in Win2k?

Has anyone sucessfully completed this combination? I had a perfectly running win2k system with bios version 1004. I upgraded the bios and wammo. . . . . . . . . I could not ever get win2k to boot again.

Gents. . . . are there any of the latest Radeon XP driver hacks out there. . . dated after the released 6. 13. 3276's? Frame rates or horrific in D3D games, suprisingly GL runs ok. Even having texture tears and misaligned poly's.

How Do You Copy Files To A Cdrw In Xp

Hi this is proberly a thick question, but I thought you could drag and drop files to a cdrw drive on WIN XP? When ever I try this it does't work. I have a ricoh 7083a cdrw drive Has anybody got any ideas what I'm doing wrong thanks TEL.

Hi, I've noticed something weird: I don't know if it's accidental but I've had three occurences of the same problem. If I have installed XP and I change the Ram in that machine the system won't boot anymore and keeps telling me that this and thus driver or dll can't be found.

Someone helped me by sending me the patch to go from 4. 01 to 4. 02 but as of now I am using 4. 00 so that patch did't help much. I am using Windows XP and really now more than ever need the tv tuner program to record now that I have my webcam pointing outside to catch someone in the act of stealing.
