Can not remove Radeon 9700 PRO Control Panel - HELP

For some reason, nothing I do seems to work. I try the add/remove program in the control panel, and it shows that it is removing the latest Catalyst 3 control panel and I need to reboot. But when I reboot, it is still there! I tried deleting files and editing the registry, but nothing seems to work.

If running Resolutions at higher refresh rates degrades performance, then will running the 9700 pro at 60HZ on a LCD run faster?

Dell PowerEdge 1600SC and Registered DDR

I just ordered a PowerEdge 1600SC from Dell It comes with 128MB ram and I need to order an extra 512MB ECC Registered Ram. Who should I order from? I was looking at Crucial. THey have a good deal on 512MB I need it for Stability and I'm going to test.

Hard Drive Question

I have a WD 80 gb drive, not the nice ones with the 8mb cache, just the regular old 80gb ATA 100 drive. Now this drive is about a year and a half maybe 2 years old. Now when the drive spins up, i get a kinda high pitched whirring sound.

Just built a 1. 7GHz Celeron, 256MB PC2100, Intel 845 MB, Sound Blaster 128, Intel Nic, GeForce 2 GTS. Loaded FRESH INSTALL of Win2K and all Packs and Patches. Only have Norton 7. 51 running, no others programs or driver helpers.

XP and Epson Stylus Photo 950 problem

I have a problem with my Epson Stylus Photo 950 printer and Epson has not been able to solve it. According to them it only occurs with some Windows XP / Epson 950 combinations and cannot be fixed by a driver update.

Removing SCSI disk wreaks havoc on dual boot system :(

The scenario: Win2K on a single SCSI disk (ID#0). I added a 2nd disk (ID#3), installed Redhat 8 on it & used the system in a dual boot configuration without any problem. If I physically remove the disk with Redhat on it, my system does not boot into Windows.

Hi guys: just bought an IBM P96 19 monitor capable of 1600x1200@85 hz. . . but i can't go beyond 1280x1024@60 hz the drivers from IBM don't help at all Win XP insist in limit me at 1280. . . . . Any clue how fix the problem? Is there any manner to customize the monitor settings? thanks in advance.

I am looking for advice on the Game Pad Pro. Microsoft is impossible to get help from, so this looked like a good forum to try. Many of my games use the Up, Down, Left, & Right cursor buttons to control the character.

Well, here's the current system I'm trying to get going. MSI KT3 Ultra2 athlonxp 2100 w/ a volcano7 geforce 2mx 256mb ddr333 60gb maxtor 7200 32x lg cd I previously had a (generic) 300w. . Well, that was enough to run at 2100+ with random reboots on heavy loads.

Hi all. I just upgraded my CPU to the highest spec my mobo can officially take, an AthlonXP 1800+. Surprisingly it runs close to 10 degrees cooler than my old 1. 2Ghz chip, so I know for a fact it's not overheating.

Optical mouse light stays on

Hi everyone I have an ABIT SR7-8X motherboard and a Logitech Wheel Mouse Optical with a PS/2 adapter. When I turn off the computer I find that the mouse light is still on and the mouse is active. I could turn this off with a jumper on my other computer but there doesn't seem to be one on this.
