What causes this error? I was reinstalling Flight Sim 2000 It asked me to put cd 2 in the drive, once i ejjected my cd, i got that blue screen error, ahd to reboot. Very irrating BoDEAN.

File Recovery / Undelete for Win2000

Greetings. I personally like to disable the Recycle Bin and just keep an undelte utility on hand for major slip-ups. Under Win9x Norton handled this task perfectly but I am having a problem finding a really good file recovery tool for Win2k.

My roommate is running WIN2k, just like me. But when he goes to Start/search/for people, he has an option to search different web sites. When I do it, I only get contact list Did i not install / enable something? BoDEAN.

System just restarts out of clear blue?!

Anybody else having this problem? Without warning, my system has just shut down and restarted maybe 3 times now. Just like that! One minute up and running, the next minute BEEP! I dunno. ********************************************** -Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

Norton Antivirus 7 for Win2k Setup error message

I uninstalled the old virus scanning prog that I was using to give Norton Antivirus 7 for Win2k a spin. When I dbl click on setup. exe. . . it prepares the install shield and then when that is done I get, Norton Antivirus Server Setup cannot be run in interactive mode.

I just get crazy. I have win98se Norwegian Version using Programfiler as Prog-Dir, and win2k 2195 English Version on the same drive. Are my win98 and win2000 having or something? In spite of that I have the file taskmon.

Bootdisk for win2000 pro final!!

How do i make a bootable startup disk for win2000 like the one i could make from win98 add/remove programs panel in the control panel. i don't have a bootable win2000 cd or the bootdisk program on the cd.

wierd colors in Media Player

All of the sudden, Windows Media Player shows colors completely screwed up while playing f. ex mpg-files. Sigh. This incident and _many_ other typical MS incidents is the reason I refuse to pay for Windows.

Red Light on tower / Harddrive Activation ?

as soon as i boot into windows 2000 and after its all booted up and ready to go noticed the red light on my case blinks ever 2 seconds and i can hear the hard drive when the light blinks, it wont stop doing this to i do something or open something??? i have p3 600eb, abit be62, 128mb, more info can be found out at

Change Default Monitor-------How?

I have Win2000 and a Hitachi CM751 monitor, however in Monitor Properties it says default monitor and I cant change anything. There is no monitor in device manager either. In the registry it shows the CM751.
