Need Epson Stylus Color 600 Drivers for W2K

Can someone please help me? I have installed the recomended 640 drivers for my Epson Stylus Color 600 in W2K, but the print status monitor won't work and says it has a hardware link error. 98 and NT4 drivers don't work (both the 600 and 640).

Problems with Media player 6, can i reinstall it?

man media player keeps crshing on me in 2k when playing MP3's, sometimes at beginning of a song sometimes end. and sometimes it plays the song like its as 300% speed wierd ***TRUST YOUR TECHNOLUST***.

Scheduled Tasks?

Hey, Is there a way to run defrag from 'schedule tasks'? Not just to turn the program on, but to run it (i. e. at 5 in the morning, my computer defrags one of my partitions and then another) without my intervention? Is there a way? Otherwise, what is the whole point of 'scheduled tasks'? - Napalm.

I received a reply from Powerquest a couple of weeks ago saying that an update for Partition Magic 5 and Windows 2000 would be available on April 10, 2000. I checked their website and haven't seen it so far.

How do I set IE for default pic viewer again?

I Installed office2k, and with it the picture editor. . and when I went to open a pic, it opened in that instead of IE, like I want it to, so I uninstall pic editor, and try to open again. . it wants a file association.

NT Server 4.0 & Frontpage 2k problem

I've used Frontpage 2000 on my Win95 machine with no problem. The problem i'm having with my NT Server is that when I select one of the default Themes that are included in Frontpage, and I click ok, all that appears is the background of the theme and not the -> Banner,Forward button, Back Button, Lines or anything.

Is there any fast program to encode videosignals from a tv-tuner card in realtime to MPEG-1 ? I used WinVCR in Win98, great program (got it from But it doesnt work under Win2000. Please help!.

Win2k shortcut key doesn't work anymore?

Hi, I was tweaking my win2k with tweakUI yesterday with the tweak3d's win2k tweaking guide. But somehow after that, my windows' shortcut key don't work anymore. e. g. win-r, win-e, win-break. The win key itself is working to call the startmenu, but it just can't conjuct with the normal shortcut, e.

Installing 98 SE w/ 2000

I was wondering I am running windows 2000 Pro. I have a few apps that will not run on it, due to being older apps. I want to dual boot win 98, is this possible w/ out having to reinstall 2K again. If so what is the best way to go about doing that? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

Removing 2K

I want to uninstall Win2K from one of my computers. The PC has a drive partitioned into 2 parts, Win2K is on the Primary partition, 98SE is on the secondary partition. Is there any way to remove Win2K w/ out formatting, or w/ out causing an issue w/ 98?.

How to install Creative Labs Unified drivers

How can one install Creative Labs Unified drivers while using Detonator 5. 13? I own a CL GeForce and everytime I try to install Unified it says I´d need a CL graphics board to do so. I also tried with CL´s drivers for the GeForce but nothing happened either.

Well, I have installed Win2000 on clean partition and have no problem dual booting with Win 98. Few days ago, my friend has done the same thing, but when booting computer there is no start up screen where you can choose which system to run.

Ok. . . I installed CL's beta SB Live drivers for Win2k. They work fine but I'd like to install the official drivers now that they are out. Problem is is that there is no uninstall with the beta drivers.

Power Managment and DirectCD problem!

Hi, I have the following problems with w2k (2195: When I restart or reboot w2k it freezes just when it's suppoused to reboot or shutdown, forceing me to hit reset (the power button won't work). Any ideas? I do not have a APM window under Power Options Properties.

Nero / Win2k / Installation

Hi. Just installed newest version of Nero. I rebooted, like it asked, go to run the program, and it says win2k generated errors. Doesnt even open the porgram. What am I doing wrong? Reinstalled it 3 times, same thing It should be compatible BoDEAN.

ATX shutdown in Win2K?

I've got a standard Supermicro mid-tower ATX case that turns itself off when win98 shuts down. Shouldn't it do the same with win2K? When I shutdown win2K I get the It is now safe to turn off your PC, but I have to manually hit the power key on the case.
