beta service pack woo's

Dial-Up Networking question..

Hey, I have Win2k, and I'm using a Dial-Up connection to connect to the net. I noticed an option in the properties for my connection that say Redial if line dropped or something like that. I have it set to do that, yet whenever I get disconnected, it will not redial.

Burning without admin rights ?!?!

Hi ! Win2k does not allow normal user (without admin right) to burn CDs. He says the user has not the rights to do that. I use Nero 5. 0. 3 and Easy CD Creator 4. 02. . . i think its possible to burn cd as normal user.

yea, you had beer bottles instead of a spaceship. I had it on this 10000001 games disc back when i had win95b, but the cd got so scratched that it couldn't be read anymore, anyway, if you know any download sites please tell me, its an oldie but goodie, just wondering if it'll run under win2k.

Installing 98SE over 2k

I don't know if people have gone through this in here already but. . . I have a system running Win 2k Pro. I'd like to add Win98SE to it, into the same partition as 2k (98 won't be used often). What would be the steps necessary to dual boot like this? Thank you, -Anton.

CD Burning Software

Which one actually works under win2k? As i tried using nero with the updated dll. . and i keep getting runtime errors, when it is caching the files before burning to the cd. Any help appreciated.

IE History and Win2k

I have a clean install of Win2k on an ABIT BP6 Dual-Celeron system. All is working well, except I noticed that my IE History is not functioning! I've checked all my registry settings, attempted to reset some of them via TweakUI and X-Setup, to no avail.

Hey, I removed My Documents from my Desktop, but when I run Windows Explorer, it lists My Documents at the top right under Desktop and defaults to it instead of My Computer. Is there any way to change the order of the items on the left tool bar in Windows Explorer or make it default to My Computer instead of My Doc ...

Street Atlas 7 and Palm IIIx

I just finished reformatting C: and doing a clean install of Win 2K. I installed Street Atlas (from Delorme) and it seems to run fine. I also installed Solus 1. 5 which allows running a GPS receiver from the Palm.

Office 2000 SR1a

I just installed the damn Office 2000 SR1a patch on my Windows2000 machine. When I load up outlook 2000 it just exits instantly and the same for the other office programs. Does anyone have a fix for this? This is really annoying! Please help!.
