InoculateIT reports a PaceKeeper virus - but Norton does not

Hi all, Having recently been having problems with running Norton Anti Virus on Windows 2000 Professional (crashing etc), I decided to install the FREE Anti Virus InoculateIT Personal Edition - This reports a virus in my Temporary Internet files containing the PeaceKeeper virus.

Tirtanium 1.9 and Win2k: direct3d buttons all shaded out

Anyone have this problem? I can run the opengl tests but all of the direct3d buttons are shaded out and I dont even think the program is detecting the direct3d HAL. Celeron 300a@464 on a Abit BH6 Rev 1.

Win2K / Win98 dual boot

I have two 18GB SCSI drives. Drive 0 has two partitions: c:\ which is 2GB and currently has NT4 on it and d:\ (16GB) which has W2K Pro on it. I now want to get rid of NT4 on C:\ and install Win98SE there instead so I can still play the odd game (I find W2K games support is still pretty bad).

Can't install win2000 on a partition!

Well, I wanted to do a fresh re-install of windows 2000 so I could use the ACPI for my mobo. Anyhoo, when I try to choose the partition to install it on, it says I need to use a Windows 2000 compatible partition.

i had to remove ie5. 5 cause it took over a minute to load a simple html page, i am now running ie5. 01sp1 which much much more reliable than 5. 5.

I need to send several powerpoint files to some work associates. Currently I can not e-mail any file larger than 1. 5 megs. How do I change the values in IE 5. 5 to allow larger file emails? Thanks in advance.

I finally got the new parts I needed to rebuild my Win2k System, and installed on a brand new harddrive. Now, everything is getting fragmented, and my add/remove apps doesn't come up, yet everything else works.

playing *.dat movie files

Hi ! Win2k is unable to play *. dat movie files on VideoCd format from Cd. I had to copy such a file to hard disk and then I can see it. Is it problem of CD recorder software installed ? Plese Help Thanks.

ICQ ActiveList Server and Win2k!

Has anyone managed to get ICQ ActiveList Server working with Win2k properly? I've installed it and configured it fine, created my ActiveList (For my website). Then after a reboot, or closing the server, restarting the server causes an Error Log.
