Crucial BallistX 1333 ReviewBjorn3D takes a look at the Crucial BallistX 1333
Ever since the introduction of Tri-Channel DDR3 memory, we have been seeing a whole slew of different memory types and speeds. But not all memory is created equally. What makes one memory better than another is the ability to overclock and maintain that speed better than the other types of memory. Crucial has proven to be one of these memory manufacturers.
Today I bring forth the Crucial BallistX 1333MHz memory. Let's go see how much abuse these sticks of memory can take before they start turning different colors.

The Intel Desktop Board DX58SO is designed to use the Intel Core i7 processors with support for up to eight threads of raw CPU processing power, triple channel DDR3 memory and full support for ATI CrossfireX technology. Intel's flagship X58 Express chipset comes packaged on an attractive board, but does the performance match its looks?
The Intel DX58SO motherboard was just an awesome board to work with. It made the transition to Core i7 easy and enjoyable. We had absolutely no issues at all using the board. It met all expectations that one would have with an Intel board. As we looked at performance on this board it was very good, and it shows how much promise there is with the X58 express chipset and the Core i7 CPU. If you are looking for a power boost in performance, you will find it here...

On the home front, as we have mentioned before people are turning their homes into small infrastructure environments. Many families have a computer per person living in the house and in some you may have more than one. This leads to an issue where you may over load your home router with connections. Most routers today only provide four ports. This is great if you only have a couple of hardwired systems, but what happens when you have five, six, or even more.
TRENDnet has graciously provided us with a potential answer to both of these issues. As the Pro-Sumer and the Enthusiast encroach on what was formerly a “members only” market, we have to look at more advanced equipment to meet the needs of these more demanding users. To find our answer we look at an enterprise class product and see if it can fit into the enthusiast space. So we present to you the TEG-240WS 24-Port Gigabit Web Smart Switch.
