The update resolves an issue where accent-colored window borders were not displayed when enabled, shadows around windows were not visible when enabled, and window launching animations were shown even when the setting to disable animations was activated.

The IME toolbar is now hidden when apps are in full screen mode for those with the IME toolbar enabled and typing in Chinese or Japanese. Speech-to-text and text-to-speech experiences have been improved, with users of Narrator, voice access, live captions, live translations, and voice typing receiving a message requesting manual language file updates. The update also addresses bugchecks in File Explorer, taskbar & system tray, input, task manager, display, and Excel.

A new advanced camera options page has been introduced, enabling users to configure their camera settings effectively. The available options consist of a multi-app camera, enabling simultaneous access to the camera stream by multiple applications, and a basic camera, which provides fundamental camera functionality to enhance debugging efforts. A third option for selecting a media type will be introduced in a future build, with the default setting configured to "Let Windows Choose". The build incorporates resolutions for various issues related to File Explorer, Taskbar, Input, Desktop, Task Manager, Narrator, Audio, Settings, and additional components.

The simplified system tray featuring a condensed date/time format is currently disabled to resolve existing issues. File Explorer folders will now open in a new tab when initiated from outside of File Explorer, and the setting for "Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in" will be enabled by default. Users can now snooze or disable the "Start backup" reminder in the File Explorer address bar, thanks to a new feature. Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27749 to Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel. The update contains various enhancements, such as a new shortcut for copying spoken words to the clipboard, auto-reading letter contents in the new Outlook app, and updates for File Explorer, Taskbar & System Tray, and Input.

The narrator has been updated to address performance concerns such as slowing down after 15 minutes of continuous use with a single application, adding an additional "contains style" announcement when focusing on text with styling features, and not using Windows' 200% text scaling default. The Task Manager has been updated to display a 0 count for apps and processes, and audio issues are resolved. Other enhancements include a fix for a Git flaw that prevented Insiders from using Arm PCs, a bug check for KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION, and DirectAccess concerns.
