Elite Bastards put up an ASUS EN7900GT video card review

The shrink to 90nm has left NVIDIA with more headroom to increase clock speeds over their GeForce 7800 parts and this shows even with the GeForce 7900 GT, which comes with a higher core clock than the 256MB GeForce 7800 GTX. A reference GeForce 7900 GT exhibits clock speeds of 450MHz on the core, and 256MB of video RAM clocked at 650MHz. This time around, NVIDIA has chosen clock speeds rather than disabling pipelines to differentiate between their high-end SKUs, thus the GeForce 7900 GT retains all of its pixel quads but is some way off the 650MHz core and 800MHz memory clock speeds of the flagship GTX part.
