GeForce 418.91 Driver Performance Analysis

GeForce 418.91 Driver Performance Analysis featuring the GTX 1060/6GB SC using 40 Games As a regular BabelTechReviews feature, this driver performance analysis will showcase the performance of the EVGA GTX 1060 SC with 40 PC games using the latest GeForce Game Ready 418.91 Driver which released last week for Metro Exodus.

We will document the performance changes of the current GeForce 418.91 driver from the 417.54 and 417.01 drivers by testing 40 games at 1920×1080 and at 2560×1440. How-To Flash RTX Video Card BIOS To A Different Series

For a few generations now, NVIDIA has been slowly changing how traditional overclocking has been achieved. It used to be a simple process of increasing the video card's clock speed and that was it. With NVIDIA's Turing generation of GPUs, that has changed for the worse. Not only is the BIOS encrypted, but NVIDIA has also gone to great lengths to make sure the Founders Edition and OC (overclocked) editions are the top performers on the market. On top of releasing two variants of the same GPU (A and Non-A), the BIOS restricts the Power Target Limit and makes a difference how far a card can overclock.

MSI RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z 11GB Review

It is an absolute MONSTER of a graphics card from MSI, with a price tag to match. If you are a hardware enthusiast, then MSI’s Lightning series will need little introduction. Designed to offer ‘balls to the wall’ performance, with not a thought for power consumption or physical limitations, these cards are often the best in their class. Today we look at the latest in this high-end family – the RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z, with an MSRP of £1439. If you just want the best of the best, regardless of the cost involved, is this the card for you?

Resident Evil 2 The Ghost Survivors DLC Review

Resident Evil 2 is a mostly top-notch remake, but I’d argue the game sticks a touch too close to the source material. Fresh characters, moments, or modes are relatively rare. Thankfully, Capcom has just released The Ghost Survivors, a new batch of free DLC that lets you take control of four previously-unplayable Resident Evil 2 characters.

The Ghost Survivors serves up a series of alternate-universe missions in which you play as supporting players who bite it (or, rather, get bit) in the main story – posh mayor’s daughter Katherine Warren, gruff gun shop owner Robert Kendo, Umbrella Security Service soldier Ghost, and a fourth character I won’t spoil. It’s certainly a clever concept, but does the DLC do these characters justice? Will The Ghost Survivors keep survival horror fanatics satisfied or will it quickly fade from memory?

Silicon Power XPOWER Turbine DDR4 Gaming Memory Kit Review

If you are a mainstream user and do not care for RGB lighting effects, Silicon Power has a solid solution with their XPOWER Turbine kits, that also feature Samsung ICs. Despite the XMP rating of 2666MHz C16 of our kit, it still has some overclocking potential, if you take your time and do proper testing. The module heatspreaders height is quite low at about 38.2mm, so it should be no issue when installing large air coolers as well.
