Asus leaks more Ryzen 3 1200 details

While AMD is happily selling Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 CPUs and has announced the Ryzen Threadripper series, there is not much information about the Ryzen 3 lineup, other than it is expected to launch in Q3 2017.

What makes them interesting is that Ryzen 3 lineup should ship in various quad-core SKUs and Asus has leaked a bit more information regarding the Ryzen 3 1200 SKU. The Ryzen 3 1200 is a quad-core SKU with 8MB of L3 cache, 3.1GHz base clock and the same 65W TDP, just as the low part of the Ryzen 5 lineup. The CPU was spotted in Asus' ROG Crosshair VI Hero (Wi-Fi AC) motherboard CPU support list.

EVGA CLC 280 Review

EVGA tries its hand at all-in-one liquid cooling. It is easy to see why so many manufacturers want a slice of the liquid-cooling pie. Producing all-in-one products shouldn't be difficult - simply choose an OEM and add a few customisations to apply your own stamp - and hey presto, you've a premium product with plenty of enthusiast appeal.

But not all liquid coolers are alike, as the manufacturer-specific tweaks range from RGB lighting, additional software and tailor-made fans. EVGA has all this and more in its latest offering, the CLC 280.

Intel Denies Graphics IP Licensing Deal with AMD

You must've read recent reports on the web about an AMD-Intel licensing deal. We purposefully didn't cover that information, spread on May 15th, based on an expiring graphics IP licensing deal between NVIDIA and Intel. Since that deal was expiring, the initial report offered, Intel was now turning to its x86 arch-enemy, AMD. It would seem those reports weren't based on facts, having since been denied by Intel, who told Barron's Tiernan Ray that "the recent rumors that Intel has licensed AMD's graphics technology are untrue."

Spitballing the performance of AMD's Vega Frontier Edition graphics card

AMD's Vega Frontier Edition reveal yesterday provided us with some important pieces of the performance puzzle for one of the most hotly-anticipated graphics chips of 2017.
