Windows Server LTSC Preview Build 25267 has been released to Windows Servers insiders.

Announcing Windows Server Preview Build 25267

Today we are pleased to release a new build of the next Windows Server Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) Preview that contains both the Desktop Experience and Server Core installation options for Datacenter and Standard editions. Branding has not yet been updated and remains as Windows Server 2022 in this preview - when reporting issues please refer to "VNext" rather than Windows Server 2022 which is currently in market.

What's New

Windows Server Datacenter: Azure Edition preview now available for download. Windows Server Azure Edition is a special version of Windows Server built specifically to run either as an Azure IaaS Virtual Machine (VM) in Azure or as a VM on an Azure Stack HCI cluster. Unlike the traditional Standard or Datacenter editions, Azure Edition is not licensed to run on bare metal hardware, on Windows client Hyper-V, or Windows Server Hyper-V, or run on third party hypervisors or within 3rd party Clouds. You may install this preview in a VM for testing and evaluation purposes only. When evaluating Azure Edition VMs not running on Azure Stack HCI or in Azure, you will receive expected error messages when logged into the VM, in Windows Admin Center, and in the System event log and the VM will not activate its license. The ISO may be used to test upgrade or to create your own VM images for testing.
