Saw mention of them on the front page, how NVidia has developed them to show a better score on the new 3dMark benchmark that has been recently released...
(I don't particularly care about that, as most gaming I do is OpenGL in nature & I prefer working around that API anyhow & playing games based on it... IIRC, the 3dMark benchmark is DirectX oriented anyhow!)
* What I am concerned with, is IF you have tried them, how are they working out with your legacy games (Quake III Arena in particular as it is my fav) & what-not?
(Especially performance & stability-wise... thanks!)

* That's Tom's Hardware Guide's stance on them in regards to the new 3dMark benchmark program...
Yes, they DO boost that, but are these drivers going to benefit anyone in real-world practice?
(I.E.-> Games today (none I have at least) don't use DirectX 9, which is what this version of 3dMark is about really iirc... AND, my vidcard at least, a GeForce4 Ti4600 might not get ANYTHING out of putting them online here at all either)
SO, I will wait for folks especially that have GeForce4 Ti4400-4600-4800 units to reply/respond here...
