Received the follow messages:
1) Works fine
2)Error#1
Insert Disk 1.
Error#2
Cant install to user define directory.
If you experience any of the errors listed above,
simply rename the dkdemo.exe file to dkdemo.zip and extract it to a temp folder.
Then run setup.exe within that temp folder.
3) I have a Voodoo3 3500TV running Beta2 Win2K drivers and Daikatana would ONLY
run in software mode. To get it to work in 3D just edit the config files
daikatana.cfg and current.cfg in the ..daikatanadata dir. Where is says 'set
gl_driver "opengl32"', change "opengl32" to
"3dfxgl" in both .cfg files.
4) Single player and multiplayer server modes work fine, but connecting to
internet servers either
a: hangs and loops sound while loading
b: loads, goes to the daikatana logo, then never displays the level
system: win2k, celery 450, 128M, TNT2U 5.13 drivers, SBLive! (official drivers),
Netgear FA310TX (built in DEC driver)
5) Randomly freezes between loading times within game using TNT 2 Ultra, 5.14
drivers. Able to shutdown the demo via ctrl+shift+esc.
