Download the
Descent 2 Win 95 update. The require file is called
"D2_WPTSCH.ZIP" and can found at http://www.interplay.com.
Start a Windows Command prompt. Then insert the Descent 2 CD and
type "x:Install"(x: CD-Rom drive). After the
installation go to the Descent 2 directory and open "DESCENT.CFG".
Change the setting "MovieHires=" to 1. Unzip
D2_WPTCH.ZIP into a temporary diretory. From the tem directory
run "___OOO___.exe"(Don´t run setup).

It works when you install Windows 95 version. Some image gliches with the cockpit. Switching to Win95 Compatibility mode made the game unplayably fast
