I have a PNY GeForce 3 with XP (2600) using drivers 21.83

Yesterday I downloaded the 23.11 new detonators to see if I would get a little performace boost... but when I reboot Windows (after installing the drivers) it gives me no image AT ALL

Just an ugly black screen

When I reinstall 21.83 in safe mode things work fine again

Using:
P3 850Mhz
256mb RAM (PNY - 133mhz)
Mobo: Asus p3v4x (via)

Any sugestions? could it be a problem with nvmax or something?

I tryed uninstalling the old drivers 1st.. and then the new ones... but no good...

Hmmm.. Good to know the problem is with that damn Detonator 23.11 . I have a GF2 GTS and the black screen problem occurs often when I attempt to run certain games... That's very annoying!

They should 1st fix the bugs and incompatibility issues with their drivers (creative should do the same with Live! cards)

And then try to boost performace... =\
