Elite Bastards has posted an ATI CATALYST 5.7 performance analysis

Most of these improvements are at very high resolution (particularly for 128MB boards, where frame buffer space is likely to flow into system RAM at such settings), and to be honest there is little point in my mind to testing at such settings. Thus, we'll be using much more realistic real-world configurations to see whether these promised improvements materialise in the real-world circumstances gamers are actually likely to be using.

3DMark aside, all of our testing today will be performed at two settings - Firstly, 1024x768 with 4x anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering, and secondly, 1600x1200 without AA or AF. These are the kinds of resolutions and settings most likely to be aimed at by actual users of the X700 Pro and boards of its ilk, so hopeful this will help us to gauge whether this driver release has anything major to offer gamers in the real-world.
