WD Se 4TB Enterprise Hard Drive Review @ Techgage

SilverStone NT01-PRO CPU Cooler Review @ Futurelooks

The Silverstone NT01-PRO is a specialized version of their NT01-E cooler from their Nitrogen Series. The NT01-P has a solid copper base with six heatpipes 6 mm in diameter attached to aluminum fins. This is a pretty standard material design, but the NT01-P is a half-height, offset CPU cooler. At 140 mm wide, 120 mm tall (40 mm from base to fins and 100 mm for fins), with the entire assemble offset by 35 mm, this gives the cooler an interesting profile. Each fin is also 50 mm wide for a fairly high surface area.

The NT01-PRO is designed to support a number of cooling configurations. It can be a passive cooler for processors with a 65W TDP or less as recommended by SilverStone. Adding up to two 70 mm or 80 mm fans will allow usage with a processor of up to 150W TDP. The mounting system also works with any currently available CPU socket design and mounts in four different directions. This versatility comes at a price of $54.00 at select e-tailers.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Video Card Review @ Legit Reviews

Last week NVIDIA introduced the GeForce GTX 780 graphics card that was designed for gaming enthusiasts. The GeForce GTX 780 uses the powerful Kepler GK110 GPU with 2,304 cores and 3GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory. We compare the GeForce GTX 780 to the GTX Titan, GTX 680 and GTX 580 to see how it compares to its predecessors at 1920x1080, 2560x1600 and 5760x1080 screen resolutions on the latest gaming titles!

The performance decrease that we expected to see from Titan was present, but not nearly as bad as we expected. For example in Metro: Last Light at 5760x1080 the GeForce GTX 780 was just 9% slower than the GeForce GTX Titan. At 2560x1600 and 1920x1080 screen resolutions that performance gap narrowed to just 4-6 percent, which is on the borderline of being significant. Our testing in Battlefield 3, Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry 3, Hitman: Absolution and Tomb Raider all showed similar results. Just for fun we also benchmarked the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 video card that came out in November 2010 and found that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 nearly doubles the performance of that card. If you happen to have one of those cards and are looking for a significant performance jump before you update, you finally have a good option and it no longer costs $999...

Steelseries Sensei [RAW] Frost Blue @ FunkyKit

Meeting with Steelseries at CES we briefly spoke about their [RAW] series of products. Basically they are cut down versions of their high-end expensive products. Instead of cutting performance, all the performance parts and some of the not so necessary bits are cut out in order to lower the price point and let people who could otherwise not afford a top of the line product to be able to do so.

Of course I loved the idea so Steelseries was kind enough to send a sample of their [RAW] version of the popular Sensei mouse, the Frost Blue edition. Over the course of the review we will be taking a look at everything this mouse has to offer.

Acer Aspire V5-431P review: 14-inch touch for less than € 500 @ Hardware.info

A lot of the laptops that we review on Hardware.Info aren't the cheapest of products. The one we're looking at today is an exception in that regard, the Acer Aspire V5-431P-987B4G50Mass is available for just under 500 euros.

That this is an entry-level laptop isn't immediately obvious when you look at it. It's also part of a product line that has much more expensive notebooks, and aside from a lack of a few stickers and backlighting for the keyboard, it doesn't look so different. It's a bit more compact than your average laptop, due to the 14-inch TN screen with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. It's interesting that it is a touchscreen, which is pretty special at this price point. It even has 10 touchpoints.
