Keep in mind, buying a new videocard may not be the best choice in increasing your gaming performance. Often times a new CPU is a good choice. As the Intel/AMD wars continue the prices keep dropping, make sure and look at all of the performance numbers before making a decision.
Looking at the benchmarks, there are several conclusions that may be drawn. Most importantly that that no one card is perfect for everyone. Different cards perform differently under different situations. Some players prefer high resolutions, some player prefer all the eye candy at low resolutions, some players like ´hardcore´ at low res. Add into the mix all the different CPU speeds and it is a difficult decision.
