RivaTNT - Win2000 - Unreal Tour problem

Anyone who has Run: -Win2000 Retail Release -RivaTNT (NVIDIA) Win2000 Installed Drivers -Unreal Tournament 4. 05b - D3D mode (1024x768 or 800x600) Any problems - like coming up only in a window ? ? I'm not able to get a full screen game.

HP 7200i + media = freeze

I'm running Win2K final in a Dell Workstation 210. I have an HP7200i installed, with the latest ASPI drivers (as recommended here) and the latest version of Nero. Every time I insert a CDR or CDRW into the drive, Nero and my computer will freeze, until I hit the eject button, when they will return to normal operation.

Folder Redirection? how?

I have the retail Windows 2000 Pro. and was reading about folder redirection. I would really like to be able to do this, but when I go under group policy editor +user configuration +windows setting + it's not listed and I can't figure out what I need to do to get it listed there.

As i said in an earlier post, i get a freaking BSOD: KMODE exception handling or something IN module NV4_DISP. DLL. . . nice and big, white on blue!! ANY IDEAS,. . . . . anyone???.

FUNNY: 3Dfx - 16 vs. 32 bits color depth!!

Hahahaha! This is sooooo funny! Remember when 3Dfx insisted that 16 bits color depth would be enough by far when they started to promote the Voodoo3 cards? They also said there was no visible difference between 32bpp and a dithered 16bpp image.

IDE Block mode in bios

I have P3-500, 128MB, Voodoo3 2000 (OC'd to 175MHz), Win2K, and Diamond MX300. BZ2 runs for me for like 3 mins starting from the first mission and then when it gets to a certain point, teh game crashes with a address violation.

voodoo3 retails.......not digitally signed?

Hey anyone notice that the voodoo3 retails werent digitally signed? I thought thats what they were at microsoft for. Anyways I dont care about that. The part that is funny is they basically took the beta drivers and renamed them to retail.

I must say my excitement died down extremly fast when i noticed the same damn symptoms as i had with ALL detonators except 3. 66 ! (ie - they give me a BSOD!). I run w2k pro (2195) and an ELSA Erazor III.

hum. . I was just wondering if any of you heard about beta canon drivers for win2k. Maybe there is a slution mixing Nt drivers files with the good inf file from 98 driver. Just a thought. . I don t even know if it s possible.

New Logitech mouse drivers for Win2k, but lost Mouse Wheel

Why can't anyone get it right the first time. At last I can set the use of my mouse buttons on my USB Mouseman, but now the mouse wheel refuses to work in games. I tried that patch that Logitech released for the Win9x drivers, and it worked, for about a millisecond in UT before returning to not working.

Drive errors in the Event Logs..

I was poking around in my event logs, and I noticed a certain, probably bad trend. . It appears that every time I boot this box, I get a myriad of controller errors on \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, and one or two errors on atapi device \Device\Ide\IdePort0.
