Okay the system is an abit bp6 running the qq bios, TNT2U running the 3. 78 drivers, also have an old isa adaptec scsi, netgear fa310tx, and a ltwin modem(my dsl due date is in 3 days), The sound blaster is one of the original live value boxed retail version, and win2k ver 2195.

IP Address in use error

I am on a college lan, i rebooted my computer, and I cant get on the network. We use DHCP (i think it is enabled) but I get errors now says Your computer has dected the ip address xxx. xxx. xxx. xxx for the network card xxxxxx is already in use on the network.

Fifa 2k and Win2k (Yes, that old question!!!)

Now I'm confused. . . Eversince RC2, I've never been able to get Fifa2k to run in Win2k. Now, when going to the main page on NT Compatible, someone has posted a result saying it runs fine. Details would be appreciated, as I get an exception error all the time.

I have a dual P3 600/133Mhz and when i installed the sblive newest drivers that were suppose to fix the problem with intels p3 600mhz my nt4 sp6 keeps locking down the whole time. . . i dont know what to do anymore, please someone help? looks like am the one needing **** load of help here! thanx.

I've recently installed Win2k and would like to install and run win98 too. I have one 4gig drive that i partitioned( C: 1. 99gigs and D:1. 72gigs). I want to know how to install win98 on D: and have win2k on my C: drive.

this is what it says in the hardware compatability list This card runs perfectlly under Windows 2000 RC-2. All Direct3D and DirectDraw options run fine. DVD Playback is great when using PowerDVD 2.

hello, my problem is with quake 3 arena the game is almost to dark to play i have tried to increase the brightness within the game and with powerstrip but nothing seems to work it seems to be only under openGL games directX works fine i had this same problem under winnt4.

AGP Sideband on BX with NVIDIA geo256

Is there a way to enable sidebanding for the Geoforce 256 on Win2k? I am using powerstrip and have been searching for a way to enable it. Can someone steer me in the right direction? I have searched the board and could not find anthing on sidebanding.

got fix for voodoo3 and powerstrip.

I wrote to entechtawain and told them my problem which was my computer would reboot when pstrip loaded. My comp reboots on any bsod so thats probobly what I was getting. Anyways I got a reply within like an hour and the guy told me to add this to pstrip.

Hi. (This is for all people who are reporting problems) I have updated the Dell W2k Live Drivers to universal drivers for all non-dell pcs and I have made it so that you can use cards other then the Live Value v 512.

hi, I don't know much about dual cpu's and win2k. I have a Dual p2 400 (runs at 896, 448 each cpu). In the BIOS on the start up it runs in dual, but I don't know if win2k is running dual. I have a VD3 2000 and a Montego II quadzilla soundcard in this computer.
