Explorer not showing Mapped Drives

I have a problem with mapped drives on a customer's machine that I am working with. Maybe someone has seen this before? Commentary: All workstations at this customer's location are loaded with Windows XP Pro and are members of a NT4.

I recently pulled out an old game called Win Battle by BFM software, copyright 1992. Its an old windows based game, it runs fine mostly on my Windows 2000, but it has one major flaw. The sound does not work at all.

I use the program XP LoginUI to change the login pages for XP home on my desktop. Apparently I downloaded a bad screen because now when I load windows it will get to the point where it is about to load to login page, but instead it will kick out a message Insufficiant Quota or something to that effect.
How can I install XP on one Partition without distroying the extended?

I used Partition Magic to create a second partition on my drive. My thought was to keep data on the extended partition and if for some reason I had to do a clean install of Windows, I could just reformat the partition where the OS resides and not bother my data on the extended partition.

can't get throtle movement control. A microprose technician once solved this problem by deleting a file from pirates moon and replacing it with the matching file from mechwarrior three. I can't remember which file it was.

Hi I have been trying to hook up my xbox live using a crossover cable from my laptop to my xbox so i can share internet. The problem I am encountering is an error message that says ics cant be enabled because I do not have the ip address 192.

Hey all. About 2 weeks ago my computer crashed on me and I had to reformat everything and repartition the drives. One of these drives (D) won't reformat. It will start and then stop after about 10% is formatted.

I guess its kind of a moot point come next round of imaging programs since they are both owned by Symantec now. Anyway Im trying to find out what is better, Ghost or Drive Image 7? I have been a long time user of Drive Image but The Virtual Recovery Environment with 7 just takes FOREVER to load up.

Search not working from Start Menu

Hi, when I try to click Search from Start menu, nothing happens. The Search window is not coming up(no probs when I use F3 key). Also, the search results in Google don't open when I right-click and select Open in New Window.

My MP3 Player won't get detected by the computer

I got an 512 MB MP3 player from eBay. It worked perfectly fine but after two weeks or so it gives me the error message that the drive E: (presumabley the drive of the MP3 player) cannot be found and it never comes up.

I am trying to set up a way to connect a remote office to a SQL database being run on a workstation that is used to collect data from GPS devices to track drivers. The local lan has the machine with the SQL workstation and one client that captures the info and passes it to the database just fine.

The topic title says it all, really. I can't listen to the music tracks in the Sentinel Returns game. The led indicating that the system is accessing the cd only blinks briefly, when the game is being launched.

Hi Folks: A little background behind this. . . . I'm running Windows 2000 Professional, with Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird v1. 0. There is absolutely no trace of IE on my system. I used IE Eradicator to rid of it.
