Sim2 2 unspecified error

We installed Sims 2 on my new HP Media center XP m1070n using the administrator user profile. It runs fine on that profile. We get an unspecified error message if we try to open or run it on another profile.

How to make a dvd iso file using nero?

ok I have about 3 gigs of pictures I wanted to backup to a dvd-r disc using my dvd-rw. I know how to backup dvds etc but I cannot figure out how to save a iso of this 3 gigs worth of files on my HD for burning later to a dvd-r.

I have a Dell 4100 with win2k. Only administrators can see the USB ports, which is how my printer is connected. Did not have this problem till installed a techgear usb card for additional ports. I have removed the card and uninstalled the techgear installation but still no luck.

mac cd-rom 7th guest install on XP

Can I or can I not play a mac cd-rom (the 7th guest) on my windows xp? Ive been everywhere and tried everything. ( patches, dos emulator, cmd prompt, etc. ) Some say I can and some say I cant. I just bought it off Amazon and I think it said I could play it on XP.

Ati radeon 9700 or nvidia geforce ti4800 ?

Hy! I have a big dilema. I'm planing on buying a new graphic card but i don't know which one to buy. Ati is a 9500 pro, gold edition, but it has been tuned up to be just like 9700 pro (325Mhz/620Mhz, without artefacts), it has it's 4 remaining pipes unlocked,128 MB,256bit.

nvidia geforce MX 4000 problem

PC : 1. 5gig AMD Athlon, 256 RAM, 32MB SiS 300/305, 35gig HD. I am trying to install this new graphics card ive bought nvidia geforce MX 4000 but i have a big problem. Firstly even though in the manual it says it is compatible with AGP2x/4x/8x slots it wont fit into my AGP4x SLOT! (after i remove my previous card).

Lost ident info for Linksys BEFSR41 v3

i was trying to configure my friend's router using a internet explorer and the default login for the BEFSR41 is blank/admin but it didnt work. so my question is does anyone know if its possible to recover the login information??.

Funky Problem with Win2000/Office 2000 Help Files.

Hey Guys, I have run into one of the wierdest problems. In any Office 2000 application, Click on the Help file, and the Help Window pops up, only ALL Gray. I have read some problems with MSOHELP. exe, but I don't get any error messages or events in the log.

can anyone help me? i have VIA/S3G KM400/KN400 onboard graphics card. i would like to use my nvidia geforce 4 graphics card but when i insert it to the graphics slot and turn my pc on the 2 graphics cards conflict and my screen turns off when windows begins to load.
