Asus v6600 v3.79 lost hibernate support

I just installed the latest Asus V6600Deluxe drivers for Windows2000(3. 79b1), and it seems that I lost hibernate support with these driversas the hibernate option in my power settings has disappeared.

Removing items from My Computer.

Hi. I have got an Icon for a Digital Camera Located in My Computer. Caused by installing something - I don't know what program that did it. I don't have any camera, and I want to remove it. How? Thx.

Dirt Track Racing.....have fun with this one

Alright here goes. I currently run Windows2000 Pro and with my TNT2U I can't use Direct3D. The game I play all of the time is Dirt Track Racing by Ratbag. At first I said no biggy I'll wait for new drivers, but as we all know that didn't help.

Dial-Up Networking problems!!!

I have a question. . . . . when I try to connect to a server at work from home(i have win2000). So, I use this special software that dials in for me, and it goes through compuserve. It starts dialing and when its done and verifying the password.

Video crashes computer

Ok guys this is a problem i've had for several months and it doesn't seem to matter what drivers I use. Randomly when playing a video file my computer will freeze up and my sound card will let out a high pitched constant sound through my stereo.

Removing mouse drivers

Hey i got a logitech mouse, i installed mouseware 9. 0, and then game wheel patch, but my wheel still didnt work in UT, so i uninstalled it, and now everytime i boot windows, it says cannot find logitech mouse driver i hit cancel so it goes away.

Zoom Internal ISA Model 2819 Modem

I have a Zoom internal ISA Model 2819 k56Flex (upgraded to V. 90) modem. No where on the box it came in (from 1 1/2 or so years ago) does it mention dual mode. I'm assuming that's the Zoom modem that supports both k56Flex and V.

What the hell is wrong with SBlive and MPS systems!

I tried everything in NT4 and didnt get the sblive working with my mps system, it locked the computer all the time, now i install win2k and here we go again!!! it lockes the computer again, just like in NT4, i mean what the heck is this!! can't creative make something that works with 2 proccesors or what is it I am ...

USB and hibernate?

Does USB devices work ok after hibernate? For example I have USB-modem Well and after normal boot there is power on in modem (light is on), but after hibernate there is no power-light. I can't test it more because there is no drivers yet :-(.

how do i edit startup programs

damn seems like everything i install puts its self in the system tray automaticaly and i dont know how to edit these programs in win2k other than the start/programs/startup but the programs i want to remove are not in there but loading theirself never the less

SETI@HOME, win2k and MTU tweaking

Hi y'all, I have serious trouble with SETI@HOME. Since I've been using win2k i've never been able to upload my finished units. I have a DSL connexion and i'm using RASPPPOE (yes PPPoE sucks but my provider is the only one in town) Now i've been told to set MTU from 1500 down to 1412.
