i had to install nfs4 in win 98. To resolve the patchrestart problem in nfs4 do a shortcut to the nhs4. exe and add -d3d1 It worked for me!!!! Hope that this helps.

Modem trouble in win2k

i put win2k on and it didnt find my modem so i have to get the drivers but i dont know what my modem is. i have got i TIME computer and it is the modem i got with the computer so if you know what modem it is or even beter if you tell me were to get the drivers from that would be great thanx very much sean.

Cannot Calibrate Logitech FF Wheel in Nascar 3

I have Gran Prix Legends working in W2K and had at one time Nascar3 working. But now sadly enough N3 won't calibrate in the game, the pedals work but when I try to calibrate the wheel (x Axis) it goes way off the scale -12 etc , then freezes.

Quake 2 doesn't work all of a sudden!

My problem happened once I installed the new HD and made it my primary. I formated my old drive and made it my secondary. I reinstalled windows 2000 and installed the new 3. 81 drivers from Nvidia ( the frame increase in Quake based games is AMAZING! ) and everything worked fine.

choosing setup drive for W98 on W2k sys

How do I specify what drive to instal win98 on in a Win2K sys. When I try to instal I get a error that states that I have a NTFS drive and I need to make a MS-DOS boot partition to instal. Is there any way around this? Thanks!.

Can some one please help me? I am running a Unreal T with a Voodoo Banshee and Win2k. When I run the game I get an error. It just says error!. When the game starts all of my toolbars are still present and I can't get rid of them.

udma will not allow computer to start.

If i put my hadrives in udma mode, they will not allow windows to start, it just stops half way thru the startup screen. it only works in pio mode. now back in win 98 with this same mobo it worked. any suggestions on how to get it to work? Amd k7 500 w/ 3dnow and mmx.

AVG Virus scanner (free version)

Has anybody had prob's with the AVG virus scanner (free version) installs fine when the system reboots on loading personal setting my system just hangs. When I got back into windows four reset's later and managed to run the avg program half way though scanning it awarded me with the blue screen of death.

How come there is about a 3-8 sec lag on going to any networked drive on a local lan. . Sound in DOS Games

In Windows 2000, how can i get sound to work in DOS Games, it says in the FAQS for NT Compatible's website, but the address to goto the site doesn't work. Anybody know how to solve this?.
