Anybody use this in win2k? Also this is my first joystick. . How can you tell if its working. Is it plug n play? It uses the standard pc gameport. .

cant change IRQ settings

I cant shange my irq settings. i go to the resources of a device, and it jsut has everything dimmed so i cant change it. i am running acpi. i heard that i might have to change the system to a standard pc because acpi auto sets irq.

When i try to run any of the exe files for MM8 i get this error message The procedure entry point MakeCriticalSectionGlobal could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32. dll Has someone else gotten this error? I'm using win2k and i740 driver, any help would be appreciated.

I think the drivers are worse than the 3. 78 In the game, I noticed that sometimes, I cant see my hand and weapon, and sometimes, ALL the guys on the board turn invisible, cant see anyone. . . Only happens with the 3.

UDMA66 and a wd13 gig

I have a bp6 and 2 ultra dma 66 drives, a wd 13 gig and a maxtor 27. When I put the 27gig on the 66 controller everything works fine, win2k and 98 will boot. If I then put the 13 on 98 will boot but 2k will not, it gets about half way done on the loading screen and just dies.

WriteDVD for win2k and packet writeing?

doeas anyone have WriteDVD for windows 2000 by it will do dvd-ram packet writeing under windows 2000. how is it? what eles can it do cdr's? i would like to get my dvd-ram up and running is this a good programe or should i wait for vob new instantwrite software to come out.

Adaptec DirectCD 2.5/3.0?

Hi, Can anyone manage to get DirectCD 2. 5/3. 0 running on Win2K? I got the info. from Adaptec that DirectCD isn't compatible with Win2K, but I need to make copy of some files through CDRW and DirectCD is the only way to copy stuff (for me anyway).

hello. when I try to shutdown win2k, my PC restarts always. I saw i didn't have the choice to hibernate the PC is there a link between these 2 things?. . . in win98 my system can hibernate & shutdown.

Any of you guys have SuperMicro SCD motherboards, or other variations with the same problem I'm having? We have two identical P-III systems with similar behavior, making defects unlikely. Trying to go into Standby mode gives a message The driver for <xxxx> is preventing the machine from going into standby.

Does anyone know where I can find the trailers for Dolby or THX so I can test my surround set up. I finally got aroung to setting it up using my SB Live Value, LiveWare 3 for NT & four speakers and movie mode on and I want to test it.

Where is my hibernate?

hi, One moring when I turned my pc on, I soo a really intrtesting thing. w2k sayd someting like that: Your' s hibrate file is damaged (or something) etc. Since then I can' t use a hibrnate, even under Power Management, there no any hibrnate tab anymore.

I have one problem. Under win95/98 this card works perfectly. But under w2k thene no drivers for this card, but that doesn' t any matter. Because after I intalled a software, what comes my card I can watch a tv only in windowed.
