Recording a TV prog on your PC

Has anyone ever recorded a TV prog with a tv tuner card on the pc and then played it back on a regular TV (kinda like that new TieVo <sp??> thingy)??? I just bought a SB Live! Player 1024 and install sucessfully Liveware 3 under Windows 2000. Now my problem is that my Sidewinder 3D Pro doesn´t work anymore. Any idea how can I fix this? Christian.

Fifa 99 and World Cup 98

I'm having a problem installing either of these games, they seem to install fine until they finish the file copy and a dialog box pops up and says Error: No hardware found or along does lines. Does anyone know how to get around this dialog? My Specs: Celeron 450 win2k Creative TNT2 Ultra Creative Voodoo2.

I have W2k pro on a duel boot with Win98. I have an ISDN netgear RH-348 router. From time to time I have people come over and we lan together and share the internet. Ok here is the wierd part. . . . .

Well, it isn't that simple. If your going to play todays new games, it'll require a high-end 3d accelerator with a good amount of onboard memory. Try playing Quake 3 on your generic svga card. . . if it's even possible.

Hmmm one thing about win2k is wonderfull networking is great !!!!. only you got a wsaasres in use when running an halflife server but thats fixed in next hl patch but the Internet connectivity is also great.

Hmmm does somebody got also problems with an pci sound card under win2k ? i got the strange problem that my comp in all of a sudden reboots when i choose the vortex2 pci driver in the pop up screen. the soundcard is PnP and is detected as an vortex2 card but the a3d isn't working only the standard sound.

I recently purchased Win2k pro , and upgraded my Windows 98. The installaion was flawless, and pretty much everything I had installed ran. There were a few quirks that were obvious, and some showed their ugly head a few weeks later.

Want to get your DVD working???

I have Power DVD version 2. 0 - Retail, but it will not work under Windows 2000. So for the hell of it I downloaded Cyberlinks 1. 5,1. 6 to 2. 55 patch. After installing the patch I now have Full DVD under W2K.

Nvidia Neptune 5.02 Drivers Any Good?

Just saw on the news portion of this site that there is an alpha release of Nvidia drivers for Windows Neptune, version 5. 02. Says they are supposed to work fine under Win2k. Anyone tried this yet?.

I am having problems with USB mice and w2k. Whenever i plug in my mouse into USB hub it starts lagging - the cursor doesn't move in sync with the mouse. Whenever i connect the same mouse (through adapter) to ps2 port - everything works fine.
