It seems that my origional win2k banshee. inf file has been replaced after installing a bunch of hacked drivers (for my banshee). I want to revert back to the original windows drivers for my own purposes.

I hav tried all the tip in this website and i still cannot get it to work. Apcompat. exe didn't work and the patch didn't help. It runs in dosmode with no sound and that's all i can get it to do. .

A 2k Pro computer I'm working on boots normally to the point of loading all the sys tray crap, then usually before it gets to the last item or 2nd to last it quites responding for about 5 minutes, then works flawlessly after that.

UT and win2k problems

When i installed the 3. 81 drivers my ut only gets mid teens average frame rate for 1024. I have dual 366 with 256mb of ram. TNT2 Ultra. I tried the new 5. 31 drivers and it does the same thing. The weird thing is no matter what resoultion i run i get the same frame rate.

Why does it take so long time for win2k pro, to browse the network? Have a 100 MBit network using tcp/ip and netbeui! It takes far more longer time than in win98/winnt4, with the same hardware. Does anyone have a suggestion?.

Hi, Today after I goto admin tools and look at things, (didn't change any settings) my event log under application log i got an error everytime i boot, source is Perfnet and error message is unable to open the server service, server performance data will not be returned.

I finally got liveware for win2k installed, but shouldn't it be playing the startup and shutdown sounds? All my other sounds work, and i have the startup and shutdown sounds on, but how come there isnt anysound when im starting up and shutting down?
