I lost Dual Boot, how to restore?

Hello I had to copy my whole C: partition to a new hard drive. Well something went wrong and I had to re-install Win2000 Pro, after this I was able to boot Win2000, but not Win98. After I choose Windows 98 in the boot menu, I get an error msg: Invalid System, change disk.

I need to make this win2k-as box a router between two networks. I have 2 nic's and I can connect to each of the networks from the machine that is supposed to act as a router, but i can't connect from a machine on one network to a machine on the other one.

Anyone having lockup problems with StarLnacer and TNT2 Ultra

When playing Microsoft Starlancer the system locks up after about 10 minutes. I am running it at 1024 X 768 but it happens at all resolutions. I have checked the MS site to see it there are any patches but no luck yet.

Can u tell me how to dual boot my system??, i just tryed it by using win98 startup disk since win98 wont install thru win2k or boot up. So i tryed to use dos to install it, but it tryed to install it in c: drive and i want it installed to my I: drive since that is my spare drive.

Hi, i have a Asus K7V Board, AMD Athlon 700MHz, GeForce DDR and Windows 2000. If i install a 5. xx Detornator Driver, i get a blue screen. But not with the new 5. 22. Hehe but every game is slow like a Pentium 100 with a Voodoo 1.

I have problems installing the Latest Liveware drivers for my Soundblaster Live 1024 on W2k. After rebooting, it crashes and says something about the installed driver. . . and blue screen. I tried to install the drivers from NT4.

Hi all! I got the Problem, that my HL produces a Errorprotocoll if I quit HL without loggin off a server. And, often, HL freezes, but Win2k is still ok. Problem is, that my Keyboard and Mouse are also frozen.

The problem I am having deals with my ATX case. When I had Windows 98 my system would shut off when I selected shutdown in Windows. Now that I have Win2000 Pro my system won't shut off when I select shutdown.

Alot of program - Win2k drops the network connection

Anyone had this problem when you have alot of programs up runing, like, Photoshop chat programs, webbrowsers, iis, ftpserver, outlook 2000, etc. . Once you have these up and rúning win2k drops the Network connection.

Probably anyone experiencend same problem? Since i've installed the nVidia Det. 5. 17 driver under Win2k i get random restarts, but one especially in Q3A when changing the resolution!!.
