Stupid question about Fast Ethernet

Ok this is really stupid and since everybody got it in school, I never asked, but can someone please explain how you enable fast ethernet? I have two 10/100 cards, a 10/100 hub, and I assume I have to by red or yellow cat 5 cable.

I'm so frustrated with Creative for not having decent drivers for this card. Granted, its basically the same card as the live value but you can't install the Liveware 2. 0 with it. The problem I'm having with this card is that two games I've tried to play so far.

Well, 3dfx has succeded in pissing me off once again. 3 months post the release of win2k, there are STILL no drivers for the v00doo5500 how ridiculous is that? am i missing something here? What is wrong with these people? System Specs: Kicks the crap out of yours.

Has any of you run the Motocross Madness 2 with Win2k Beta drivers with the Voodoo5? I am unable to play it above 640 x 480 res. Any time I set it above 640 x 480 res. then try to start the race it automatically restarts my machine.

Voodoo2 with Win2k - Not Detected in Directx

I have Windows 2000 installed, and I installed the latest beta version of the Windows 2000 driver for the Voodoo2 from 3dfx's page. It says it's installed and everything, but then it isn't listed in directx so I can't use it with Direct3D games.

I recently purchased a new hard drive for my system. The current setup has one 10G hdd in 2 partitions. Win2k on C: and Win98 on D: (partitions 1 and 2 respectively). I understand that when I add the 2nd hdd the system will not be able to boot into win98 because it will look for the proper files on the new (blank) ...

UO freezes randomly for me under win2k. some times it takes a long time sometimes its only 20-30 minutes, but its really making me mad. i have died countless times because of this stupid problem. anybody know how to fix it? thanks -tristan.

has anyone tried a p3 coppermine 700 on an abit be6 v1. all the multipliers are in the softmenu and the cpu voltage is also there. any help or information would be appreciated as I am thinking of upgrading my processor from a celeron 400 (clocked 500) and did not really want to change my board.

Half Life will only run in 16 bit color!

I usually keep my desktop at 32 bit color. Just recently (I can't pinpoint when this started) half life pops up with a screen that says I need to switch to 16 bit color on the desktop in order for it to run.

really quick Disk Management question

I was playing around in Disk Management yesterday, changing the letters to my cd drives(from O and P to R(CD-RW) and V(DVD)). I saw something in the harddrive options saying Dynamic Disc What is that? It says after I do that, I cannot install older OS's, which is fine with me.
