Cheap but good 19" monitor?

Hey im looking to buy a new monitor, this old Acer 15 is getting smaller with each passing day, and after 5 years of serving the screen seems to have darker/lighter areas. Im looking at couple 19 inch ones, KDS VS-190.

Missing Desktop Folder

OK, this is the second time this has happened. I start using IE, and when a page starts to load, I get an error that: \Documents and Settings\My Name\Desktop is inaccessible I then go see if my desktop is gone, and sure enough, it is.

Win2k and Modem Help

For the life of me I can not get my Creative Labs Modem Blaster DI5601-1 to work. The modem works fine in Win98 but whenever I boot into Win2k I have problems. Whenever I try to dial I get an error saying, Error Could Not Open Port.

Hi I have 2 systems with a netvin 10/100 8 port hub with rpti isa 10/100 mbit cards linked with r j45 cable but the most i can get is 10mbit connection can anyone help me to get the 100mbit connection & the best ip address i am at this address.

I have 3. 76 drivers installed and OpenGL doesn't seem to work. Games like Quake 3 won't run. D3D runs fine and OpenGL use to work before I decided to update to higher drivers. After I went back to 3.

HI im testing the win2k in my house and i have a server with win2k server(of course) hehe and 3 pc with win98. I want to know how to set up the proxy so when one of my win98 terminals open the explorer my server call the internet co.

Win2000 and voice modems?

Does anyone know of any internal voice modems which work with windows 2000? Specifically looking for PCI modems, but if none will work, ISA will due for now. I also need to know what software anyone is using with these, as Symantec's Talkworks supposedly doesn't work under win2000 (according to symantec).

Keep losing TCP/IP

Using roadrunner cable modem through PCI network card. . . every time I reboot Win 2000 loses the TCP/IP settings and I can't connect. I then have to go into network settings and uninstall TCP/IP protocol and reboot.

Win2k installation help please!

I can't seem to install Win2k Pro on my PC. The setup works fine up until it gets to the detecting and installing devices screen here it gets up to about 90% and then the screen goes black and a whole line of commas appear on the screena and the PC won't work forcing me a to do a hard reset.

Need help with Outlook Exp on Win2k

Hey, I'm using a 2 hour fresh install of Win2kPro. Whenever I go to load OE it takes minutes and I do mean minutes !!!!! to load. It seems to just hang until all of a sudden up it pops - usually when I'm about to log off out of sheer frustration.
