PCTel Onspeed HSP56 PCI v. 90 modem drivers for W2K Needed! Anyone know where to find them, or if they even exist? This site's compatibility list says works fine once installed but I cannot find drivers anywhere.

I am searching for Windows 2000 drivers for a new Compaq IJ200 printer. No Windows 2000 or Windows NT drivers are listed at the Compaq Web site. I tried to post the question at the Compaq corporate moderated forum a few days ago, but it did not even get posted.

Hey, I'm totally new to the world of Win2kPro and I've just set up my first network. From win2kpro to win98se. I am sharing my c:\ partition with 98se but I would like to password protect it. I know right click on the drive click sharing then permissions.
Online gaming laggy in win2k, any ideas?

My ping is low in Quake2, via internal isdn card, and the frames are smooth in win98, but when i go online in win2k my Quake2 frames stutter, like there is lag for some reason even though i get the same low ping.

K7V + Athlon 800 = confused

Okay, I have an Athlon 800 and the Asus K7V mobo. I know the mobo has a lot of cool features that other boards didn't have until the KX-133 chip. The one i am concerned about is the 4X AGP. I have a Geforce DDR that i know is capable at running 4X, but i am not sure how to check it.

With the 428 patch, D3D performance is finally close to OpenGL (still 2 - 3 FPS slower, but that is neglectable) I wonder if there´s a way to enable S3TC with Direct3D using a GeForce DDR with Detonator 6.

These drivers suck, hard. So far, I have lost: Hibernate mode, Standby mode, and the ability to run Half Life. . . all due to the Windows2000 compatible Liveware 3. 0 drivers. I own a SB Live! X-Gamer, and well, I'm pissed.

Hiya all, I have a 100 meg internal IDE zip drive, which as far as I can tell, works fine. The prob I'm having is I keep getting the following error in even viewer: The ZipToA service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

grand prix 1 wheel under w2k?

Ihave installed a gp1 wheel under w2k sp1 i have installed directx 8. 0 and a sb live player. i have installed the drivers 1. 40 for gp1 w2k but the wheel does not functioned propebly the buttons on the wheel are dead and the break and gas pedal are dead, when i would calbrate the wheel.

Ok I just installed Liveware 3 for win2k, and installed system shock2 ad turned EAX on, I notice the difference in the sound but when i play all sounds and music are like muted. they are so low that I have to turn my speakers up very higher just to play.

I only get error message: The update has been canceled. No qualified Adaptec produtct can be detected. Previous updates has worked with no problems why this not??.

I have an interesting problem with Windows Whistler. Build 21xx (I think it was 2130, can't remember the number exactly)and 2250 (the only builds I've tried) do exactly the same thing while installing.

Everytime I do it, the system takes about 2-5 seconds before I get a blue screen, on this screen, the first line contains allot of numbers, the second line say's F08 ...

Installed JK on my PC running Win2k & everything runs fine. Installed on co-workers PC which is also Win2k. When JK is started on his PC, JK wants to install DirectX 5. Any ideas anyone?.
