Windows ME and connection problems

I need help. I just recently installed ME, everything went great, then all of a sudden the other day, when I connect to the internet via Dialup, it connects just fine, transmits data great, but it stops rcvng data at 310 bytes, and will not rcv any more.

Will More RAM Improve Game Performance?

I know that sounds like a silly question cause of course more RAM the better, but does more RAM mean a better frane rate? I was playing the NHL 2001 demo and had the graphics swttings cranked up to the highest but I was experiencing major slow down so I had to move them back down some.

How can I turn a simply program into a service

I have adsl (high speed internet connexion) and a server where I share the internet connexion. And I want to put the little program (for connecting to internet) into service like a mail serveur. Like that, I can turn on my pc but I'm not oblige to log on onto my pc.

Anyone run one of these in WIN2k? I heard you need to download software for the USB to work, and that the cd that cmae with it isn't sufficient. I tried dling the exe file, and it tries to install it, and says _setup.

WinME upgrade to Win2000

Is it possible to use an OEM version of WinME as the qualifying software for an update to Win2000? I read somewhere in this forum that some type of patch is available, but I searched Microsoft. com and can't find it, and now I can't find the post here that mentioned it.

Sometime in the near future i plan to purchase a Tyan Tiger 133 Motherboard from what ive read i am trying to get version F i want to know how it runs. I've read all the threads and benchmarks and have heard good things about the newer revisions.

Problems installing programs

Maybe someone can help me out. I've installed whistler 2257, and I tried to install my Dual Strike software and it keeps telling me i need admin rights. I checked in the user accounts panel and it lists me as a owner instead of admin.

If you are experiencing Windows Protection Errors when shutting down WinME and you have a VIA Apollo Pro 133 based motherboard I know what is causeing the problem, NVIDIA's Detnator 3 Drivers. Just install the 5.

i have porb with d3d i have a tnt1 with win2k drivers installed but no d3d games run. in the dxdiag there: no 3D acceleration avaible. . ?? could some1 help me ??.

Hey all! Anyone here of, and know why I get, Event ID 37 in the Application Log: WMI ADAP was unable to load the winspool. drv performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0 Source WinMgmt I don't know how long I have had this message.
