DUN Woes

From the other day, all of a sudden I have been having problem sconnecting to any ISP. I run Win2k and when I boot up I can connect fine. But when I did connect and try and reconnect my computer cannot handshake with my ISP.

Win 2k install problmes

When I try to intsall Win 2k I get an error, Setup was unable to install Windows Boot Loader. Ensure that your c: drive is formated and that the drive is not damaged. I know that the HD is fine, I can use it on other comps.

Ok Im installing Win98SE on my desktop, what are the best performance enhancements or tweaks I can use to get the most out of it Celeron 300a@464 on a Abit BH6 Rev 1. 01, 192 Pc100, Matrox G400 32 SH, SBlive Value, Supra Express 56i ISA, all running on Win2k pro with other odds and ends.

When I have 3d acceleration turned on, I get strobing in the game. During the game, the whole screen would strobe, like a strobe light. When I turn it off, everything works fine. I'm using V2k on Win2k.

Running Command Line at startup

I would like to know how I can run a couple of command line commands at startup. I need to use ipconfig /release and /renew when I log on as my cable modem won't work until I do. Something slightly incompatible between my ISP and Win2K (they say).

No games working with W2k at all . . .

I've tried installing Age of Empires 2 and Need for Speed 5, but neither of them will start up on my computer. AOE2 will show a black screen and freeze and NFS5 just shows a black screen for a while and boots me back to my desktop.
