We are having a problem with Goldmine 4. 0. it locks up when downloading emails. . . if we use auto retrieve it workd most of the time. Anyone have any suggestions. I called techsupport and they can't figure it out either.

Speed up Games in Win2K - THIS WORKS !!!

I have found a great way to speed up games in windows2000. i usually play at 1024x768 and my level of access is Administrator. Creat a new account and give it power user privileges, also knock down the res to 800x600, (you dont notice any major difference) You will find that games run A LOT faster.

Yep another game that runs in Win2k. But save your money and don't bother. This is one dated mother of a game. Crappy camera angle, blocky pixellated graphics and just a pig on computer resources at its highest resolution of 1024x768.

has anybody tried the sblive nt4 drivers?

has anybody tried the nt4 drivers for the sblive with a special fix you can use these drivers in win2k too but i dont know if you have eax and or surround sound or if anything isnt functioning right i do know that it has directsound support because nt4 users can only use these drivers if they have service pack 3 or ...

Has anyone tried those newer SB Live drivers yet? Here is the source of my confusion. The LW3 drivers from Creative are versions: 5. 12. 01. 3107 The Gateway drivers are: 5. 12. 01. 3041 The Creative drivers are early May, whereas the Gateway drivers are June.

I have a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI and a crappy 15 monitor. Is there a program I can install that will set the resolution of different resolutions? I use a 1152x864 desktop resolution but 800x600 for games and if i use a 1152x864 desktop the 800x600 refresh rate is 60 hz when it should be 85 hz.

as title says. . i got my voodoo2 up and running,but i seem to be locked at a refresh rate of 60 hz. . . anyone know how i can change it?i can live with 60hz,but my monitor can do 85 at 1024x768 and i would like to be there.

Well, I had Win98 on C: partition and Win2000 on d: partition. I formated C: partition and reinstalling Win98 on it. The D: partition is like it was. How can I tell the computer to show me the boot menu at the start?.

hi i have a TNT2 M64 and an ASUS P5A-B mobo with an AMD K6-2 450Mhz CPU. I have no AGP support in win2k. i have latest drivers - 1. 27 latest AGP drivers - 169e latest directx8 build when i run dxdiag it says there is no AGP Texture support.

I can't get my icons to show more than 256 colors. It all started today. Toggling Show icons using all possible colors doesn't matter. I've tried SP1 reinstalling Win2k. . . Rebuilding icons in TweakUI doesn't fix it either.

Processors sing among themselves

My pc was a combination of an Epox Kp6-bs dual processor motherboard with two p2-450 and 320 SDRAM. Well the problem is that when I installed windows nt4 or win2000 onto my system one of the processors was pegged at about 30% loading, and the other at about 60%, even when no work is being done.
