Can't get OpenGl to work

Hi, I'm using RC2, and the new Asus 3. 53 reference drivers(system specs below), and haven't ever been able to get any ogl games to work on win2k, since RC1/2. 01 det drivers. D3D is working fine now, but no games will use opengl.

Here are infos posted on Just some news to keep things going for the weekend. MS plans to release DirectX 7. 0a BETA early next week (week of Nov. 15th), while Win 2000 RC3 delayed until 17th. .

My problem : I tried to install my new Creative Annihilator GeForce 256, on a 2128 release of Win 2000. On my computer, it doesn't work with any drivers (Detonator 3. 53 or 3. 56). Installation don't make a problems, but after rebooting, and after the Win 2000 starting screen, when i'm expecting to see my desktop, ...

So, can anyone tell me how to find out if dma is enabled on my drives. . . and if it isn't, how to do it? I've got info on NT, and wonder if it applies directly to 2000. cheers.

Hi. . I'm running Win2KPro build 2151 installed on E:\ I've updated my ViperV770Ultra drivers to the latest one and also the directx7 for Win2k i can also run dxdiag. exe now and direct3d and the AGP is detected.

I installed TA:K and it works fine in software mode. However when I try to run it in V2 mode (it recognizes my Voodoo2)I end up with a black screen when it loads the map. Any ideas? I use RC2. ,Piet.

From what i read, starting this program without any switches would automatically defrag all your hard drives. All i can get it to do is pull up the defrag console. . . i have to manually start the defrag myself.

Everything now works in Win2k but there is still one thing that's still bothering me!, no Direct3D support for my Voodoo2. . . So will there be any Direct3D support for voodoo1/2 in build 2176 or RC3?? Does the DirectX 7 final for win2k give me D3D support?? Can I use Voodoo3's Direct3D drivers.

I am running build 2128 and TRYING desperatly to get my Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra to work. Sofar all I have been able to get is video. I have NO opengl. . NO D3d. . NO AGP. . . NOTHING! I cannot even run quake in NORMAL modes! As you can tell, this is KILLING me.

OK, heres the deal. I upgraded from rc2 to 2151 to 2167 to 2176 and norton was installed and worked fine from rc2. So I formatted and installed 2176 and now when auto protect tries to start it gives the error NavEx15.

I am trying to get Everquest working with a Voodoo3/2000 and RC2. Everytime I log on to The Station, the image of my character shows up but the buttons to and interface to choose different characters doesn't show up.

I know that NT has not supported D3D in the past, but Win2K is supposed to. I want to know where all the controls for OGl, D3D, and the other setting for my TNT 2 Ultra Card are. . I have everything running right.
