Here's whats going on. I have a dual p2-350 , 128ram IDE drivers, scsi burner and cdrom. A AGP Voodoo3 and recently I bought a cheap ATI xpert 98 PCI video card to slap into my machine so i can use my spare 17 for more desktop space.

Nero is said to be working on Win2k but I've already crashed 5 CD and wondering about the word working. I launch Nero, manage to create a new CD and then start burning it. After 4 or 5 %, Nero crashes and is killed.

What the f**k with ASPI drivers ?? I'm using drivers found in chameleon's win2k page ( ) but I still have probs : Nero crashes at every CD burning (5 CDs trashed). I went to to find 4. 6 drivers (as said in compatibility list) but only 4.

I am thinking of buying a GeForce and I would like it to work in 2000 if I can it doesn't need to do 3d acceleration it just needs to work happily with my 2nd video card which is a Diamond Viper V330 Does anyone know if this works I have win98 for games

Hi, I have just installed Win 2000 RC1 onto a computer with a 3 Com Winmodem (came in a gateway) and a Creative TNT card. I got the TNT working great with the NT4 drivers, but am looking for something with D3D support.

Winamp 2.5e sometimes crashes?

Does anyone's winamp 2. 5e sometimes crash? Mine does, sometimes at the end of a song or when I just run it, win2k says its generated an error and has to be shut down. -SpaceY-.

I have a problem when dialing into my ISP. They have 2 numbers, one which works fine, although is engaged 99% of the time and teh otehr, well it just won't work. When it comes up loggin onto network, that's as far as it gets.

Problems in Q3

I have a problem, my Q3 locks up after a few minutes of play. Stays locked for about 10 seconds and then works fine for a few more minutes befor it hangs again. Sometimes it doesn't start again thoug.

I freeze. . . . right after the dialog box with all the pre-startup setup stuff. . . and before I even get a menu. . . all I see is a stoney background and its a total lock. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Is there _ANY_ direct3d support?

Yah. . I have a TNT and a Voodoo2 SLI rig. . And I was wonder if there was ANY way I could get true Direct3d running on my system? OpenGL works fine, Glide works fine. D3D? Nada. I have RC2 build 2128.

I tried a complete re-install, and then tried to load the new Win2k TNT2 356 drivers but I still can't get into Win2000 Server. Here is the error that I get: STOP:c0000263 {Driver Entry Point Not Found} The \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\nv4_mini.

Hi, Has anyone been able to get Win2k to work with WCP? I've gotten installed, and adding the V2/banshee patch allows me to select what video mode I want. However, when you run the game you get the spining 3Dfx log and then crash.

Chameleon's Voodoo 3 Drivers, W2k Build 2176 and Direct3D

Hello, I just installled Chameleons V3 drivers under build 2176 and the annyoing error box I used to get when running Unreal Tourney finally went away. . . And more importantly Q3A FINALLY works! However, I was checking around and I noticed that under the properties tab that the Direct3D options were greyed out.

OK - I am trying to install a Voodoo 2 (using 2176) I have tried a few updated drivers from different places with no luck. Has anyone found updated drivers and had any luck with them ? Device manager now says its install but has a problem, and does not list the problem so I am stumped !.

Unreal Tournament troubles on 2128

Running Build 2128 and the latest version of the UT demo. I have a Creative Riva TNT2 Ultra using the new 3. 56 ASUS drivers. Anyway, I either get massive artifacts on screen using D3d, and OpenGL crashes the game completely (Thank god for Task Manager) Any idea's cos I've seen lots of people say they run it fine.

I have been having trouble getting Revolt to work in Windows 2000. I have a Voodoo3 2000 video card and I am getting a Z Buffer error whenever I try to play the game. Thanks for any help. .
